An alternate-timeline Calliope who predominated and took the first option will help defeat LE.

Alternatively, both options are the same thing, and the horrorterrors are the force of unfathomable evil and destruction. Aranea gave us one of Caliborn's shitty red herrings when she proposed the force being a player who had taken the other choice.

The obvious path the story could take is for alternate calliope to have taken the  martyrs path, but it seems to obvious. Hell it's not even explicitly stated wich choice caliborn made, only implied so there's even more room for crazy possabilities if you go looking for them.
I wonder as far as the game mechanics go would the planets spawned during the conquerers challenge techicaly be part of caliborn's session or wether it's a session in a session kind of deal where the supersession can interact with the subsession but not vice versa. Or maybe it works in yet another way, kinda hard to keep track.
