Similarly, the only real way the punchcard alchemy with codes and such can work is if the game already has known everything that is going to have been captchalogued, then assigns codes accordingly.

Or the game has forumulas, and the punchcodes only identify the item.
when the bitwise operator is used, the item is just recorded at the && || captchalog code produced, by default.
And items are produced using pre-established formulas.

Except we wind up with the issue of potted plant + harlequin = defaced ghost dad poster

Maybe the codes are blank by default.  They get randomly assigned a Captcha code as they're encountered, whether or not they're actually picked up as a precaution.  When two items are combined or altered or whatever, it creates a new product object at the resulting code, unless that code is already in use and then it just calls that object so as not to break reality with a code-reallignment.  With a possible 300 trillion-ish codes, nonsense matches between 3+ existing objects are vanishingly small, but not actually impossible.  John encountered the three objects (plant, harlequin, and defaced ghost dad poster), and by an astronomically lucky chance, the combined-plant-harlequin happened to result in the bitwise code that had already been assigned to the poster.

That doesn't explain a completely random entry like the rocket pack with junk stuck in it.  Maybe object creation is a multi-stage process.  But nobody ever accused Hussie of having a solid long-term plan.

Oh hey, an update.  D'aw.

All the codes could be assigned by puppeteers.

I think that the sylladex might be a part of spurb itself. It converts the items into code and grist and recreates them as needed.

Question.

Why doesn't Tavros just summon that purple horse abomination he had earlier and ride it up the stairs?

Give it about six hours to be drawn.  Why not go suggest it on the forum?  Or whatever.

Aww, poor Tavros.

Question.

Why doesn't Tavros just summon that purple horse abomination he had earlier and ride it up the stairs?

I think the point Tavros is making is that he shouldn't have to. Vriska doesn't need to be a bitch.

I did enjoy seeing Vriska be a bitch though. I guess unprovoked malice makes me smile.

Tavros! D:{

I'd guess he's going to have to combine himself some sweet new gear that helps him get around to get past this rather large (and bitchy) hurdle.

dESPERADO rOCKET cHAIRS anyone?

Might need to go back and take stock of the stuff Tavros has lying around, or start asking the other trolls for useful codes.

Prediction:

Vriska: Alchemitize rocket boots and four wheeled device.

The result? Rocket roller blades! Yeah!!!!!!!!

Anyone get the feeling Vriska's Andrew's favorite troll? Seems like we can't go any extended period without getting back to her. Not that I mind, since she rocks.
