Can we not talk in freaking spoilers? It's disruptive and most people coming here will probably have already read the update. The only way people will actually see spoilers is if they read the first new post, read the word "updoot", summarily ignore it then complain afterward.

Okay.

O.O

Dang. Okay. And here I was doubting, but that seems far too similar to be unintentional. That and we're dealing with Hussie, plus John is acting heroic. Now to see what could go down?

Oh nooooooo

Of course, I wonder what the Mind powers thing was even supposed to do if it worked.

As with Vriska, it would allow her to see the decision-space. She's looking sad because most probably she saw him die and that it's the most fortunate outcome. Like, a reversal of what happened with Vriska. That would be nice from a stand-point of John-Vriska's polar duality (John has freedom and is using it for the sake of others, Vriska has luck (the opposite of freedom) and is using it for the sake of herself).

I wonder why did she need the code phrase, though. Maybe it's like, a Google search and she was looking for instances of that phrase in the decision-space?

Okay. Fortunate => Most beneficial for the intended purpose.

Effectively the same.

Hey, do you think this entire mess was caused by John interrupting Dave and Jade's conversation? It might have affected Jade's power somehow, which could have saved her from her loss and subsequent death by refrance.

He interrupted his interruption a few panel later and said to himself that he needs to go find Roxy.
