I've a question: how can troll's psychic abilities affect stuff through Trollian's viewport?

They work via line of sight and have a GM that counts seeing a 'live' image as satisfying that criteria?
But there are so many loopholes

like you can retroactively control everyone everywhere by saying you controlled them all from some point in distant future

either that or it's time travel combat system time

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

They're too busy with all the mega-bosses running around that they can't set up time.

Same way Jake is able to resurrect Dirk hundreds of years in the future via a kiss?
Though at least part of the body physically traveled through time first.

He woke up dirk in an alternate universe.  That's why Dirk and Roxy had to wait in that flower time capsule for so long.  Granted, Jane took the Transportalizer shortcut...

Bear in mind; the trolls were meant to lord as deities over the new universe they had created from playing the game. It wouldn't be too far fetched to assume that they have some measure of control over the universe; even though they aren't even in that universe.

Okay yeah that's fair enough.

It's actually pretty easy to set up time travel in homestuck if you assume that all the paradoxy stuff that happens is the result of GM extreme railroading with players being extremely uncooperative.

Not to mention that the trolls have virtually all access to the entire timeline of the kids' universe, as they are outside observers.

The Super!Calliope's outfit is so cool

Also, we see yet again the mind-averting majyyks in works! If not for Calliope's freak out, she would be stuck there relieving all the totally useless memories for all eternity, stuck under the influence of authorial control.
