Every dwarf, every dwarven man, women, and child, that comes to our forts will die there; it's truly sad when you think about it. And we ask our selves, why? Why do we push forward, knowing this fate, that we are destined for failure? Because, this game grasps the concept of mortality. Some games you can never lose, but we all stop eventually, causing a 'death' to those game's 'worlds'. Dwarf Fortress gives us a definite end, knowing that we will leave that world eventually, and move on to more.

You think there was also trolls being killed because they were that keen on their dead pal's socks?

Trolls stealing their dead friends clothes?

Angry Terezi rant is beautiful. That and the awkward goodbyes. Oh so fun.

Yeah this was a fun update.  How DOES anyone function without Terezi?  It is a mystery.

Walk up to the guy with the BFG to knock the panic shock super-mature worldweariness right out of him. Twice. Then have him hug the girl, make a joke about the dude that repeatedly stabbed you in the gizzard and bleed to death.

Terezi's cool again. Although she's not done yet... she isn't going to slit his throat now is she   it's always throatslitting time with Terezi

When you say "Two kids", it implies you do not know the scale of Homestuck's murderfests.

reading the overseer project wiki

Quote
Sburb, as presented by Homestuck, is a quest about growth and maturity that is completely intertwined with their character, potential, and fate; Sburb presents a finely tailored role to its players that fits them and help them grow as legendary heroes. Sadly our current technology doesn't let us read destinies and inner psyches

suddenly realized that I can totally do that in dwarf fortress

suddenly realized that I will totally not do that in dwarf fortress

reading psyches is the easy part, it's coming up with personalized shit that's hard

also i just completely give up on grammar when i talk about homestuck what's up with that

Can there even be a meaningful Alpha (unstuck) John at this point? It seems like the current situation is favorable for Terezi carrying out her promise.
