Well, it really depends on what weapons you use.
Jigsurgens, giant lobsters, shadowy figures, yetis are all a good next choice.

Personally my current character concept is based around science, medic, and most especially ghostbusting. Working my way towards a proton pack and then intending to get some of those cells which do Rad damage as my main weapon. Got something like 14 brains, 12 brawn, and I'm pretty sure the rest in senses for crafting on the side. Would confirm but apparently the game is down.
Still an N tag but would join a corp, preferably one with sims either now or in the relatively near future, if anyone even has them currently.

You should probably not swap charnames because it might lead to grief due to the fact you are from bay12.

I kinda want to get back into this... there is something that calls to the darker side of me.

And part of me still needs brain bleach from the last time I played, though I believe I had a decent run with the game.

It seems pretty tame right now, compared to the stories of old hellmoo, so it's probably a good time to start.

Oh, and I died three times so far today. Once to get rid of an implant, and twice to a Karnivore punk with a nasty pistol. Nearly killed the bastard, then he got in a lucky shot. Tried to get by him and snag my gear, no luck. Spent most of my money replacing things, and I'm still behind on my weapon.
I'm stuck paying rent for two places, so I'm trying to keep a decent stockpile of cash.

Just find a group that doesn't hate you and run with it.
