I am looking for someone to give me a design aid...

Goal: Using the Thaumcraft Arcane Levitator, a way to turn it on so that I can assend and then have it turn off later, stopping at a floor isn't a problem due to just stepping out of the effected area is easy. I just need it to last a good time...

Problems: The Arcane Levitator requires a redstone signal to be DEACTIVATED and none to be activated. So I am trying to have it "turned on" when not in use, then activate when in use but active for a long time before it self deactivate...

I tried that... You got to remember that it needs to go from Red on, Red off for long time, Red on again.

I tried that... You got to remember that it needs to go from Red on, Red off for long time, Red on again.

In that case, if you need a longer scale for a clock, try a modified boat clock.

Gah I can't think of the right pattern...

This is what I have so far.

I am working with a Redstone Block which will be always ON with a Sticky Piston keeping it in place, This is the off State for the Device.
The Plan is to Turn the StickyPiston ON so that it pulls the Redstone Block out for around 10-20 seconds...
Each time I try and add a clock all I am doing is making it go in and out, clearly I am not using the right clock. BUT I can not find the right kind of clock I need...

Anyway, I know this might not be the thread to ask, but does the YogCraft modpack work for anyone who uses ftb? I probably should ask this in mods thread, but I can't find it.

The clock on the left will pulse around and cycle the Piston on the right from being on and off...
Now I need to remember how to make it so that it only will turn ON when I press a button...

Is there some reason you want to do this vanilla? Rednet could do this in seconds with programmable buttons for floors and such.
