Soooooo, it seems that they were referring the "we/us" as the entire youtube community by Hannah (part of the yogscast). I stand corrected, the tweets were true.

But that doesn't explain the whole autograph thing. That's just wrong, but no one has said it was false yet (except for me  )

Wasn't Yogs involved with that whole mod pack ordeal I skimmed earlier in the thread?  (Didn't they include some mod that didn't want them including it?)

The Yogscast is responsible for most of the Technic Pack's popularity, and the Technic Pack has always been unauthorized by the mod creators. Of course, they shouldn't care about that, because it's fantastic publicity for them and they're all properly credited, but at least the Better Than Wolves people are/were pissy about it. Their mod is sort of founded on being pissy and arrogant, though, so it's not very surprising.

Crafting tables make good flooring if you have a lot of spare wood. And it generally looks good no matter what texture pack.

Yeah, if you really want drama, it's already all over the minecraft/yogscast forums and reddit with people backing Notch up and flames from the yogscast crowd. Let's not have that here.

I think both parties are at fault here. From what I could gather, the Yogscast crew shouldn't have dropped the f-bomb while they were being watched by so many people and shouldn't have acted like total dicks at a place they were invited to and acted like they ran the show. On the other hand, Notch blew the f-bomb thing way out of proportion. His response to the Yogscast acting like kings was justified, IMO.

Within the context of them acting like pompous dicks, it's one complaint of many that wore down his patience with them.

I don't see how Notch is at fault here, aside from not asking them to adhere to certain standards.

Also as a bonus you can use the crafting table from the lower OR upper floor if you use it as flooring because it is also the ceiling!

 Furnaces also work wonderfully, as they have an alternate texture not many people see repeated. Just don't show the sides of those blocks.

 It is a pain to place blocks in those rooms yeah.

A design quirk I've worked into all of my houses now is one specific corner will have a crafting table as flooring/ceiling on each level so I always have one nearby. Just point at corner.

I stopped doing that after throwing my 4th stone into lava by mistake.
