Besides that, there is the brick wall of legal precedent (the Edge case), which Bethesda cannot possibly smash through with this weak of a claim.

Were I going to court, either as plaintiff or as defendant, I would never ever cite the Edge case.  That guy (was his name Langdell?? can't be bothered to dig it up) was found to have faked some of his purported evidence, e.g. the floppy disk.  Mix in all his other unique legal theories, and you get a case that's worthless for precedent.  It doesn't work as a guideline because the whole mess was screwed up start to finish.

Oh man, I hate acronyms..

I was browsing around some boards and kept seeing "MW" and "AC" tossed around.

I was pretty happy being a bit of a mecha fan, thinking, "Whoa, suddenly everyone is talking about Mech Warrior and Armored Core!"

Only to have my dreams crushed when I realized they meant Modern Warfare and Assassin's Creed..

I actually tried to make a some DF graphics using some of the minecraft icons because I thought it was a bit weird how all miners looked alike, so how about just showing the tool? But meh, I suck at pixelz and I've my eu3 project to work on x_x

It's not too hard really. Just make grass blocks be varied as commas and punctuation on black, pigs should be just a bunch of P's stuck together, creepers would be ampersands obviously, and uh, so one and so forth.

I did not mean any offense to anyone who took my posted joke to the heart, it was a friendly joke between myself and two friends and was not meant in an offensive manner, myself being the Brazilian who loves Sirloin, and the other two obviously being the other two individuals, the last one being the self-proclaimed joke-title of my Brazilian-Russian friend. Simply a joke about foods we three hilariously and stereotypically like.

Seems someone reported it and Toady messaged me angrily. Not exactly the way I wanted to have my first contact with someone I respect greatly, but what can ya do. *shrug*

I don't think I know what post you are talking about but there are some people who are hypersensitive, shouldn't even be able to report posts and think the "report post to moderator" button is their personal "I don't like what he said wah wah" button.

I have seen people here reported over something that you shouldn't even need to frown over.


Don't take it personal, toady just has to keep the board clean and probably gets angry when something like this takes his time away.
