But I'm not secretly Taz's other alter ego.
So.. Is trapping someone in place with a piston and then using another one to kill their dog "evil" ?
....

Why would you even ask that. Do you think you will get points for being smarmy?

Soooo some pics from Jeb
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
and
Notch
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

got posted on their google+ accounts.

In Jeb's, we have what appears to be atleast 2, probably 3 new block textures; all variations on a sort of stone brick. Jeb has stated on his twitter that the mossy one is NOT the new mossy cobble, and we all know what the new cobble stone looks like. In addition, you can see smooth stone in the background of the pic. Thus the stone must be a new block type. Furthermore, that looks like procedurally generated ruins to me!

In Notch's we have what appear to be randomly generated houses, and 2 varieties of giant mushroom!

Man 1.8 will be sweet!

Wow it took me forever to get redstone working on several pistons in succession. I shouldn't have waited for this mod to come out before I started trying to work with redstone.

Now, what NPC would live with mushrooms outside their house?

The mushrooms look like crap. I say this having seen and helped make much better looking mushrooms of a similar size for N@W.

EDIT: The houses look like shit too. I'd've used, at the very least, smoothstone and cobble rather than JUST cobble, as well as doublesteps for the roof instead of full blocks.

Jeb's pic is quite sexy.
But yeah, the giant mushrooms look eh.
Cool concept, but poor design right now, especially in the textures.

Red mushroom looks fine, gray one could use some work but I can accept it. Houses look fine for what they are and how they are generated. Ruins look amazing.
