That sounds like it would be painful.

Well, now the Planes mod has a config option for its workbench ID, so that incompatibility is gone.

Depending on how they're implemented, it could go beyond merely awesome into completely insane. In a good way, obviously. Player pinball, anyone?

It might also open up the potential for reusable floodgates (rather than merely rebuildable) in vanilla, among other things. And probably lead to even more cannon designs. And death traps. Always death traps. Crushing wall/ceiling/floor, yay. And doorways. And retracting paths. Which might also have crushing ceilings/floors/walls included.

Pistons in vanilla would kind of have the potential to change... a lot.

"that's not a panel. That's a crusher. We sell those too."

I have an uncharged drill. What now?

I wonder if Pistons can sideways-shove lit TNT?
Would make for an epic trap if done right.

Well, it depends. If it's fully empty, you can junk it, because fully emptied tools have some weird code the IC guy hasn't found a way around, IIRC, and if it's mostly empty, you can either make a mobile charger, and stick a battery or a stack of redstone in it with your drill, or you can put the drill where batteries normally go in a generator.

Primed TNT is affected by physics otherwise (such as being launched flying by exploding TNT), so they should be able to if they can still send items flying. Though it wouldn't just shove TNT. It would pretty much launch it. Piston powered cannon!

Though cannon isn't entirely accurate at that point... hmm. What would that be called?

Really excited for pistons. To be honest, I have wanted to do a full-scale remake of Doom 2's "The Crusher" for a long time, but failed to actually have a way to make the crusher itself.

Well, that problem is gone now.
