I liked this game when I played it.

One question though; is it worth buying?

I'll answer your question with another.
Is it worth not buying?

If you buy now, you get all the benefits and dont have to play double the price later. I'll let someone else explain the benefits. :x

Wow. Just... wow. That's about the best advertising Notch could hope for.

I would say something about a community being flooded with crap, but I don't see how this could make the community any worse. In fact this just means the creative cool people of TF2 will be in the Minecraft community.

good. you are now legally required to set up multiple outposts, each connected by sea, and build a dock system between them.

VALVe wants Notch to join them.  I can just feel it.
They're probably going to invite him to the studios like they did with Toady.
But that's interesting, being that he's overseas and all.

Speaking of which, anywhere I can read about that? I've never heard of it until today, and I've been looking and I can't find anything.

About what? Notch living overseas? He's in Sweden, IIRC. Oddly, I can't find any easy references (neither the Minecraft 'about' page, nor the Wikipedia article, mention anything), but you should be able to find references in the archives of his blog. Heck, at one point he provided a picture of a landmark (a pair of antenna for something-or-other) from his window, so in theory you should be able to triangulate his exact position.  :P

(If you were talking about something else, let me know. "read about that" and "never heard of it" gives a lot of vague pronouns, so I'm just guessing here.  ;) )

Not buying it is the worst decision of your LIFE.

Also, I can find an easy reference..but I forgot where.
Oh, ninja said it, a couple huge antenna you can use to triangulate him.

We'd also like to thank the people at Valve for showing us around and letting us mess with their stuff yesterday. There are a few DF fans there and one of them invited us over to take a look and hang out, which was pretty cool.
