Just to offer my opinion, though it seems we are already heading a direction.


If we are going to make it a ship, can we make it like the regular station? 1 z-lv with perhaps little things up and below(viewing area above, docking bay below). It just seems like 3 large z-lvs instead of one large z-lv is going to require a higher connection speed.

Also, unless we create tons of access points, people are going to get stranded on z-lvs, unless ramps are going to be invincible. Traitors will be able to basically "kill" a bunch of people by simply placeing one or two bombs in some good places. If this is an intended effect, I dont know.

As mentioned before, there are a lot of things that are going to be needed for a mobile ship. A propultion engine, gravity generator, and ect.

You know, since it's a starship... it needs an FTL system. Perhaps one that, if configured wrong, will scramble the position of every molecule of the ship and it's occupants into an identical volume of space somewhere else, just not in the same pattern.

...It'd give engineering something to do. And there could be other failures, like jumping someplace and leaving all the wiring, or potted plants, or water behind. Maybe you show up and the ship's filled with frogs.

Call it a Fortean Drive.


Anyway, the real neat thing about a spaceship would, of course, be ship-to-ship combat. Would enemy vessels be about?

a gravity generator sounds fun to have. it could be like when its destoried you float inside the ship like in space and have to get to a wall to change directions

Any specific thing for atmo like which switches to hit to flood the station with plasma and genetist.

Yes, but most of the time there are no people on it, and there is almost nothing occuring. With three or more z-lvs full occupied, atmos will be flowing out hull breaches, atmos will have to flow between z-lvs, and among other things. You should see the lag what 1 hull breach causes.

I am ditching animations and directions for now guys, because really, it looks better this way and looks more , well right. side animations look freaky weird and with the way we are doing it, seeing a face is really important.
I so far have 3 hair styles in 4 colors (colors include brown, blonde,Dark brown,black) (soon will do pink,green and grey/white)
and 6 facial hair done in each color so far.
That ammounts to 4x5x4 so 20x4 = 80 possible combinations for your face so far.

So, posted a new design, based on Sukasas, but with wings (because wings are cool).
Green is stairs, yellow maintenance, light blue escape pods. And it's in a gif because I'm being lazy and it's late. Oh, and the letters are a bit screwed in .gif, but it's still readable.

I am liking the look of this design, but would like to add that we Saint and I want a biodome/botanical garden. I suggest using some empty space on the top deck, and maybe moving the Bridge forward, so it's close to the front, with the botanical garden behind it. It should just be a big glass dome full of monkies and plants (though we don't have plant sprites yet, as far as I know, so just monkies for now).

It will really push the ship into that 'research vessel' look.

And also be really cool when it inevitably bursts open
