The plot hole of it being flat.... Just use your imagination I guess. It would take a huge over haul to change bombs etc, i'm sure it will be done some day but its gona take awhile i'd guess

I suggest we don't actually move to a multi z level map until we actually have support for vital functions... like atmos and bomb explosions etc.

Technically we already have a multi-z-level map, just that there are only two small areas that go down to Z 2 :P

Test run sounds good. This allows for stuff like random ion engine failures (I think we should use electric-based instead of combustion-based propulsion engines, we will lose plasma way too fast otherwise). And maybe a few defensive turrets that shoot meteors if they are configured right, but no heavy weaponry, that would take the fun out of it. It would be cool to have AI-upload style laser turrets on the outside of the ship, that initially target nothing but can be configured to target 'hot' targets (shuttle engines, meteors), 'warm' targets (people, pods, and the above) or all targets. Plus manual shooting, if that is possible. I'll make a multilevel ground plan, try to follow Sukasa's design (though I like the wings too much to exclude them :p)
