I also may be able to intermittently host and once summer break is in I should be able to host fairly consistently, hell, perhaps even 24/7, bonus points if I can secure a second box.

PS, any update on creating some sort of KIT of the MAPPING VARIETY? Have a fairly decent idea of what the structure shall be as it is.

Thanks. I also found the FUCKING ANCIENT map maker dme that had one of the much earlier maps, before SS13 was open source, even.

Makes me wonder if the code for Capture the Flag is still in the source today.  I mean it was severely buggy but did somewhat work.

Yeah, I don't think I have it on my backup machine.

I do have a version from 03, a version from 04, and the last stable version before it went open source.(I think I even have the unstable version with the pilotable shuttle, somewhere)

Hmm..I used paint cans as CTF flags, but it didn't work out.

We need a set mode with locking/unlocking doors, or a couple admins to do the event.

Actually there was a CTF mode, with flags.  The paint cans were used to color over them to your teams color.  The host would choose team leaders and colors, the leaders would choose which area they wanted as their base, and then take turns picking teammates until everyone was picked.  The bases would be altered and given a team access card(Could be used to upgrade IDs), and a bunch of security lockers.  There were forcefields around each base preventing entry/exit for a couple minutes, and then people would run around trying to steal flags and defeat enemy forces.  Late joiners would join as rogues, and be assigned to orange.  They could be recruited by any team.  Round was over when all flags were one color(Though the game never ever detected this right.)
