Damnit, we were having a nice funeral too. I like that sort of RP. Sometimes it's nice to do that sort of thing without worrying about syndicates and stuff ruining everything 3 minutes into the game...

Do helmets and vests protect from melee damage at all? It's silly that you get knocked out from being hit in the head with something even with a helmet on...

Its more like they protect against a certain amount of damage, and any past that is passed on. So, if your hit in the head by a toolbox without a helmet, gameover. With a helmet, you can take a few hits. However, a fire exstinguisher kills EVERYTHING. Revolver is worse, but contraband.

This is more speculation, however. Except the weapons bit.

"Edit" Did server crash? I typed this in, thinking it would work, and the game stopped updating.

OOC: Orb370/(IP): Head, you could have a 24 mb per second connection? Thats 1000 times faster than mine


Something weird happened, I kept getting fails till I tried last time, but the game started without me.

The traitor was an admin. Killing admins is bad, even if the goal of the current round is to kill/jail them.
AND they stole the captains ID. All I had was a laser, so I shot them. It probably didn't even kill them.

Next time someone kills me on Bay12 serv, I shall BAN you.

No, just set their client var to null. Without another reference, their client gets assaulted by the gabage collector in a dark alley, and they are booted off the server. Plus, if they rejoin, they will be an assistant, and their previous mob will be a brainless meatbag.

(I don't advise you do either that or ban.)

Nooo....the round wasnt over yet, and "apparently" all the heads were dead in the rev round. I wanted to double check, not ending prematurally. Plus, I wanted to find out how to turn a stupid human into a monkey via admin powers, but I couldnt find a variable. If any admins werent around, you be stuck in that round for hours, so stop complaining. =/

Also, monkeys need an overhaul, as some people have said before. Monkey rounds might actually be fun. :D

A few more suggested bugs to fix:

Monkeyized players can not set their intent

Zombie mode seems to be a little borked. (Round starts: Zombie dies)

IT is HORRIBLY borked. (Round starts: Everyone dies)

And the AI can not access the ID console...
