You Run to the Closed Door, Bypassing the Moaning and Shuffling Noise! (Tails) Heedlessly, You Pull the Door Open!
Sunlight Pours into the Darkened Room, Revealing the Interior (Back Room). To your Right is a Large Length of Dripping Pipes, making the Dripping Noise. To Your Far Left is Three Crates, Partially Open. To Your Immediate Left is a Gruesome Sight, Two "Zombies!" Approaching You with Fresh Blood Covering their Front. There is a Half Eaten Body, with a 'Knife' Lying in its Grasp.
Through the Open Door You See Three "Zombies!" (Heads) that are Standing Motionless. It Appears to be a Closed Off Backyard. You are Quite Certain that if You make too much Loud Noise, You will Alert the Three "Zombies!".
(You have One Turn before the Door is Broken Down)
You Hear the Moaning and Thudding of the Horde Outside. You Hear the Shuffling and Moaning of the Two "Zombies!" Approaching You. You Hear a Dripping Noise.
What do you do now?
OOC: In one turn, the horde will be able to break down the door!
The rules for breaking down doors as follows:
1. A simple Closed Door will require one successful check (coin flip) to break down.
2. A Locked Door will require two successful checks to break down, as well as a Barricaded Closed Door.
3. A Heavily Locked Door requires three successful checks to break down, depending on weaponry and items (some doors are impervious to bullets! Handgun bullets, that is).
Three successful checks as well for a Barricaded Locked Door, and so forth.
Now, if your just plain unlucky, each door will have its limit before breaking down. Its basically just one added turn for every check required to break down a door, so for eg. a barricade closed door that has withstood two turns of battering will break the next turn.
The type of barricading item will also count, which can either slow down access to the blocked off room or act as an entirely new barricade! Don't get your hopes up though, the bookcase is neither.
