You Feel that You cannot Carry much more Items. Soon You will have to either Choose between Items, or Find a Item Holder.

You can Hear the Moaning and Thudding from the Horde Outside, and the Breathing of the Injured Man.

Agreed. And more importantly, since it IS a life saving action, MOVE THROUGH the door after the lock is disabled and close it firmly. OR ELSE THE ZOMBIES WILL GET US.

Also, I find it funny when I say us when its only a single character.

Then again the actions are defined by multiple people.

You Put Away your D.S. Wooden Bat, and Grip your .45 Pistol. Pointing the Pistol at the Heavily Locked Door, You Fire! (Heads) The Shot Smashes the Heavy Lock Pad, and Smashes the Closed Door Lock! You Open the Closed Door.

You Move into the Dark Room, Closing the Door Behind You. (Heads) Although the Locks have been Shot Off, the Door is still Able to Close. Squinting in the Dark Room, You can Make Out some Vague Shapes to your Left. There Appears to be Nothing to your Right. Ahead of You, You can See a Closed Door with Light Through its Cracks.

You can Hear the Moaning and Thudding of the Horde Outside. You can Hear a Dripping Noise to your Right, as well as a Wet Slurping Noise to your Left.

What do you do?

Slowly walk to the door.

Sneak towards door with light going through its cracks, and go through and close it quietly. But keep the gun trained to the left just in case something comes to eat our flesh.

If engaged by zombies, aim for the head, kill with precision. Zombies move slow, it shouldn't be that hard. (Yeah thats mostly commentary, but just in case we need to opt to engage zombies, there you go.)
