-The highest review score i could find for the previous game is a 4. This normaly means little but i can't find anybody on metacritic who's positive about it either.
Run down on previous game:
-Best inventory system ever.
-Worst RTwP combat ever.
-One of the most realistic character systems ever.
-One of the most unoptimized engines ever.
-3 factions you could work for.
-Really bad balance.
-Large variety of weapons and addons.
-Tragically hard missions mixed with easy ones. Felt completely random what sort you'd get next.
[EDIT]-Bad open space AI. They were normally good at avoiding corners of death, but out in the open they charged you Red Army style and died in a hail of shotgun fire.
-There's a blatant lie(or a retarded translation, trying to stay positive here) in the description: "Sequel to Brigade E5: New Jagged Union, the best strategy game according to the GameLand Award 2005, “Best Computer Games”, “GameLand” and “Game World Navigator” magazines.". A 2005 reward seems a little unlikely for a game that came out in 2006 and received universaly bad ratings.
Released in Russia in 2005, though (and I'm betting those magazines are Russian). I can see Russians liking this sort of game - it's hard and it's non-linear. Just like Hammer & Sickle. They must love this stuff.
