It's a physics problem.

The three body problem attempts to find the velocities and trajectories of three free floating point masses in space. If you're looking at an instant in time, i.e., t = 0, then the problem is easy. If you're looking at an interval of time, then the problem becomes horrendously difficult, because the forces on the three bodies are changing with time and are dependent on the location of the three bodies, which are also changing in time.

Solving it analytically might not be possible, and would require a horrendous set of differential equations, but you could probably trivially solve it numerically with a computer simulation.

I have a feeling it's going to come up as porn. I'll try wikipediaing it, that can't hurt.
I didn't notice the second page. Thanks Jim.

You shouldn't need Wikipedia to understand a joke.  That's why I stopped reading XKCD.  It's always pretentious love-stuff, author insert fantasies, extremely obtuse nerd-humor, and the occasional funny comic to throw you off.  It gets tiresome.

I find XCKD hilarious. You're just not getting it :P The latest two weren't that funny, but there are plenty of great ones in there.

Some xkcd are hillarious, some just funny. i find it best to just wait a few weeks, look at all the new ones, rinse and repeat. Its unbearable if you check each new one the second as it comes out.

I usually get them, but when I don't, I like looking the stuff up.  They're usually things I would be interested in anyway.

Weird, that's why I read it.

I find XKCD funny, especially the physics and maths ones.
Should I get out more?

Probably, but I should too.

I don't regularly read xkcd, but I have been known to sit and click "random" for an hour or two...

Oddly, when I first heard of  "xkcd", before I found out that it's a webcomic, I thought it was a Linux/X11/KDE app...

Dear god no. Not with the cave adaption all bay12'ers have.

XKCD is the goddamm patron of all nerdy humour. As such it doesn't need to be said that I worship it.

Yes, random is funny, isn't it? Sometimes I set up a random number generator when I need a good laugh.

Assign number values to the alphabet, from A-1, to Z-26. Add up xkcd.

It's an urban legend. Not true.

Too lazy to do it now, but let me guess: six hundred and sixty-six?

Lol, how the heck do you add 4 two-digit numbers and end up with 666?
