What about the poison spells, they worth anything? I guess Poison Arrow costs too many slots to be worth it, but how about Sting. Is poison plus Sticky Flame an overkill? As for Regeneration, does it stack with the ring?

Poison Magic sucks. Yes, the spell stacks with the ring.

  • Learn Sting and Poison Arrow. Poison Arrow has a chance to poison enemies that rPois, and only 25% of its damage is resistable anyways. Basically, this spell is even effective vs the undead and just slaughters demons.

Poison Arrow (it's actually 70% now) and Orb of Destruction are inferior to Iron Shot.

There is no such thing as overkill if it saves your life. Poison + sticky means that melee types are taking more damage as your sniping away at the ranged attackers.

He doesn't have access to Iron Shot. He doesn't have access to Lehudib's Crystal Spear, either. And besides, Orb of Descruction has better range, better accuracy, and I think it does more damage than Iron Shot in the first place. So yes, I think OoD is a better spell than Iron Shot. Except in hallways, but all of the nasty vaults don't have hallways.

I suppose for now you do have another option of waiting and seeing what else Sif Muna is going to give you. Your current spells will suffice for now.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

Cleared Snake 1-3, and then found both Mara and Boris in Snake 4. I think I'll go somewhere else ;)

Cleared Orc, killed a couple uniques, went to Swamp, was cocky because of the uniques I killed in Orc and decided to fight Nikola rather than flee. Game over.

Wow, Nemelex is REALLY nice. So far all I've gotten are plain summoning decks, and just those are doing a number on, well, everything. Oh look, a spiny frog, two cards, hmm, an ugly thing and a pair of black bears. That works.

...
Is Nemelex's evil cards somehow based on the evocations skill?
Cause I got TONS of evil stuffs if not using an ornate deck.

Do you mean Hostile, or evil like demon or ugly thing evil? If Hostile, about 75% of the summons are friendly 75% of the time, at least with low power, which is caused by low evocations. This only applies to power level zero uses. Above zero, there is only one card that can be hostile, and it's inversely proportionate to your power.

Plus, just keep drawing. Crusade is VERY common, and gives an automatic Abjuration regardless of whether or not it converts.

Edit: Alright, it turns out a plain and an ornate deck of summoning do not help against a hell hound and an unique Efreet.

Okay, thanks.

Soo...how many cards are there per deck? Random?

Totally random, your piety with Nemelex and Evocations have nothing to do with it.

I'm sure there is a total, but even identified with a scroll you can't find out what it is.

+1 robe of the archmagi.  Totally worthless because I don't gain any experience while using it.

I killed 4-5 random pan lords and none of them have the demonic rune.  :( At least I got Mnoleg's rune. Once I get the last 2 runes in pan, I'll rush through Hell as fast as I can.

No. Plain decks are generally worthless. I just spam them to get better decks.

IIRC It's 1-13 cards and the number of cards per deck is random.
