Claymore has been an interesting find so far.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I went and started reading the Pokemon Adventures manga again, more specifically the diamond and pearl arc. And it was all of the happy/cute stuff one would expect from a pokemon story when suddenly-

anyone knows where i can find the scans for city hunter?
never really digged into all of it :/ angel heart is easier since it's more recent, but for city hunter from one to the last one it's hard to find.

“Do something!” she whispered, trying to keep her sight on all of them at once.

No the anime only has a few "implied" deaths.

It has everything up to vol.39 and some chapters of the Black and White arc. No chapters from Heartgold and Soulsilver though. You have to download via the little button in the top righthand corner to read the tinier text on some of the lower quality scans.

Edit:

Er no. The Pokemon Adventures manga is a completely separate continuity from the anime, the team rocket characters from the anime don't even exist in this continuity.

So, has anyone seen the new Last Exile series?  Part of me wants to give it a shot, part of me is scared it's going to be a moe-moe show (partially due to the mechanical designs looking like they've been shrunk and partially cuteified).  The first series is one of my favorite shows.

I'm in the same boat. Ep 1 is just staring at me from my hard drive.

The first series was very important to me, one of my first anime. Also is part of some really good memories/conversations with friends, now gone.

Yeah, exactly.  I bought the DVDs (something I don't usually do), I've seen the show probably 8+ times, and it was one of the first shows that I really loved.  The art was brilliant and so smooth, the color palettes were really nice...

*sigh*

If this doesn't horribly crash and burn I am TOTALLY screen capping the hell out of this.

Japanese language knowledge here I come?  The main menu is already in English if everything else is in Engrish katakana and common kanji and common expressions I can totally roll with it.

Let the Koopusu Paatii begin.

EDIT:
Oh, I forgot to mention the Openings.  They both play before the main menu screen even appears.
*SPOILERS FOR THE FIRST GAME OF COURSE, LIKE BIG ONES*
Spoiler: Opening 1 (click to show/hide)
Opening 2 is the more classic VN opening.  It uses the same tricks that Umineko and Higurashi use in their openings (at least for Alchemist in Higurashi's case).  You know what I'll add Higanbana to that list too.  It certainly qualifies.  Especially when the almost finished English patch comes out.

Man I love these type of games for some reason.

This series is basically Higurashi without the you know what.

EDIT AGAIN:
Hmm, the music might not be working.  The first PSP game had the same problem.  If that's the issue I'll really have to wait for the PC version I suppose.  With that the Chiitranslator will be compatible too.

Ah well.  There's always stuff to do while you wait for other stuff...

ENDLESSEDITS:
I finished reading The Indignation of Suzumiya Haruhi.  Overall pretty good.  Wasn't as whammy as the second half of Intrigues but Book 9 definitely has an interesting title.  The Dissociation of Suzumiya Haruhi.  :o
