So, this Asian girl I know, I've been talking with. She introduced me to anime and manga and all that to begin with, specifically Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, which I thank her for. Now I'm returning the favor, showing her Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Cowboy Bebop. Now she's trying to make me watch Elfin Lied and Lucky Star. Should I?

You know in the right mindset Elfin Lied is actually a hillarious comedy on just how melodramatic animes often become.

I mean the show is predictable in its content and extremely stupid. If you can take the insane amount of gore without batting an eyelash then yay!

I cant quite remember but I think he is from soul society isn't he? I'm pretty sure he isn't an "awakened" human.

There are some theories that he was Ichigo's father's Vice Captain when he was a Shinigami Captain, but as far as we know he is a "normal" human, with no training but his own.

I think what that was he knocked off the already loose chain of a soul that was turning into a hollow, in theory a soul reeper could have done that to.

I've been reading Liar Game for the last few days now.  Just finished Volume 3, it's pretty good.
Watching the Sabaody Archipelago arc in One Piece right now, it's shorter than most which is a nice breather.  Also worth noting, it's freakin' hilarious.  How can this be so funny?!  HAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
About half way done with Sabaody Archipelago.  Lots of new characters being introduced, that pink hair girl that eats a lot though.....wow...........
