It's Black Star or whoever from Soul Eater.  I wasn't asking you directly so don't be throwing your arms up in arms.

Just finished episode 9 of Darker than Black S2, that was awesome.

What else could I possibly throw my arms up in, though?

Well, Umineko 7 got translated.

...This is ridiculously sad.  I can barely read it.  Oh well, I guess this part was never gonna be happy :/.
Now that I've finished: gah this is screwed up beyond belief.  The sex education bit was pretty strange too.

So, about to watch the last episode in the season.  Thoughts after this.

Alright, here's my thoughts:

Pretty cool season, don't see the hate it gets that much.  Feels just like the first season of DtB except instead of spending the beginning doing a bunch of two episode adventures we get to see the main plot move along twelve episodes.

Which is way too short man.

The ending was as cryptic to me as the first seasons ending was, argh.  I mean, everything was resolved but I'm confused on how a few parts happened.  Definitely setting itself up for another season though.  :]

Most of the new characters are awesome, unfortunately only a few characters from the first season actually come back.  Not going to spoil anything there though.  The main girl though, she's pretty much the main character, not Hei.  Who spends most of the time with his own goal.

More with the girl, she's fine I guess.  She gets broken really quickly though, so be expecting that.

Otherwise, nothing wrong with a 12 episode season here.  FUNimation is suppose to be dubbing the season in 2011 so we'll see how they do whenever that happens.  In the meantime I'll be watching the Gaidan OVAs to finish off my DtB fix.

Cool...it's pretty nice and answers some questions (but as this is DtB, it also leaves some more). love the Yin moments...

FUN FACT:  Hei's voice actor also voices the protagonist of Monster who also goes "sexy hobo".

I read that on tvtropes, never realized that while watching.  Might be because I watched Monster dubbed on youtube, hehehe.

You should check out Oishinbo, as I think it averts a lot of those, maybe all but number three

I tried to find it... Does it go by an alternate title or something? Hmmm

Because frankly that Baking anime I am watching is not only too silly but it does something I hate seeing in cooking animes which is a focus away from the foot itself.

Honestly when Cooking Master Boy (or Master Cooking Boy) is the best cooking anime I've seen... there is something seriously wrong. It was crazy, the plot made no sense, and the tasting was confusing but at LEAST it actually felt like a cooking anime.

No, the English title is still Oishinbo.

I guess its age doesn't help.

Ill have to look harder I guess.

Read cooking manga instead. Anime filters out a lot of the good stuff.

Can anyone recommended me a new anime to watch?

I quite like slice of life stuff, the last anime I watched was Junjo Romantica and I loved it.

It doesn't have to be Yaoi, I didn't watch Junjo because it was Yaoi, I just generally liked it.

Shuffle!
Dennou coil
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan
Ranma 1/2

I know they aren't exactly slice of life, I'm just naming awesome ones.

Already seen Ranma 1/2, and I'm not too big into the sci-fi stuff, but I did like Ghost in the Shell and Cowboy Bebop. Shuffle appears to be an adult game  :o.
