I watched the first episode of Soul Eater on Hulu.

Its for the most part, Bleach. If Bleach was awesome.

So far, everything is better. It has this light goth art style, and the episode had some pretty nice gripping fight scene with an over sized living scythe and pretty cool Kishni (a hollow).

It also has a genuine sense of humor, instead of the hard interjection of it that Bleach attempts to do with Kune, and a few other characters.

The character design itself, is meh. And it reminds me of Air Gear. Death's Tower, is also some bad CG work.

The ending of the Soul Eater anime is a massive dissapointment.

The rest of it is awesome though.

Translators get bored sometimes.  I think one fan translator of the Death Note manga might've called the author a retarded parakeet.  It was some rant (triggered by a mispelling of the name "Zack").

I read that one. Its the one on Onemanga right? And yeah, the author of Death Note is not the best at western names. And the spelling was Zakk or something like that. But who says it wasn't an intentional misspelling? There are some people who give their kids misspellings of normal names that, when pronounced, are the same.

Yeah, it was for spelling "Zack" "Zakk".  Also since the name was obtained through the eyes it probably should've been a full name like Zachary or Zacharius.  He also complains about the actual title of the series, although I've never seen anything wrong with it.

And there is nothing wrong with the name, as far as I can see. In japanese it means notebook of death. That's what it is about.

On the face of it, I dont find anything wrong with the Title of Death Note either, it still works even if its completely on accident. On how I've read the title was created, the author of Death Note, just murders the english language.

Eh, I guess.  Still seems unlikely.  Although  they should surely hunt down the guy named Brfxxccxxmnpcccclllmmnprxvclmnckssqlbb11116... he'd be basically immune.

No - the title is in English, since Ryuk wrote the Death Note in English (oddly enough, the actual instructions seem to be ok-ish).  Although the title that got landed on probably works better than whatever the author was actually aiming for.
