Now you all see why I walled the stinking river off in the first place!

But hey, fun times.  Watch The Eternal Halls be the first community fort to end up at war with everyone, even the other dwarves.

21st
Things have been peacefully chaotic, but the fortress has been holding together well. The Count's quarters are being engraved, and surprisingly enough, SUPER MASON Tulon Storlutgeshund went into a mood and produced a gloryous throne for the count's throne room. Dispite this, the count still is unsatisfied with his quarters... hmm, we do have those caged frogmen in that exellent cage; and several masterpiece mechanisms. perhaps his room just needs some sprucing up!

Now that's ironic.  I don't know who gave him that title, but he was completely useless and entirely unnecessary from what I could see.

<- By the way, I refer you to my subtitle.  Doing great man!

SUPER MASON is apparently not a custom title actually. I played with Cave King's save and I got about three messages announcing that someone is now a SUPER MASON. Also, why are the humans sieging?

Hey, hope you had a fun trip.  Sure sure I'll rearrange things, though it will doubtlessly annoy some people.

4th Timber
Well, the Count if finally pleased with his arrangements; I don't know how he's taken the gradual starvation of his consort.

10th Moonstone
 An Ambush! curse them!

23rd
The river beings are attacking rabidly! They are pulling dwarves in and invading like never before! I am sealing all access to the river. And where is the Mayor? In the garden! He must have asked every dawrf in the fortress to meet him there. I'm sealing the doors- weather he is there or not.

6th Opal
There have been increasing attacks from both the cave river and outside goblins. I have begun to seal all access to the fortress from both of these locations. I may even brick up the main entrance hall. Theives, kiddnappers, and other villans stalk the surface, now only doing me the favor of cleaning the debris of battle.

13
I have had a miner cause a cave-in in such a way as to seal the cave river's supply shut. Now, the water will drain out, causing the creatueres there to be easy pickings for our military. After we have cleared the valuable bones and corpses from the river channel, we can remove the dam.

3rd Granite
Well, I narrowly avoided flooding the fortress and could hardly have brought more suffering to the population. I can firmly say; Mission Accomplished! I turn this fortress over with simple glee for the shock awaiting the next commander. Good luck, you poor fool.

I'm now in summer end I am afraid to say the curse of the eternal halls strikes again. this time the trade depot seems to have been struck. the traders refused to see it and when i tried to break it down nobody seemed to care i even had a metalsmith with all smithing jobs enabled (it appears to be a brass trade depot) and nothing else sit next to it and then going back to the meeting hall with no job! it's a pity because i can't build buildings in its place and had planned a to put a really nice trap with repeating spears there :'(

What?  Another bug?  I hope not.  Is there another depot elsewhere?  That always seems to cause problems.  Who the heck made a brass depot anyway?  Felsite is fine!

Anyway here's hoping something gets resolved.  It's getting stupid how many bugs we are getting.

The brass trade depot is my doing.  I built it out of the remnants of ChJees' tomb, so it's probably his ghost come to prevent us from getting any meat or fancy metals.  Honestly though, I don't know what the problem is.  That other trade depot (next to the original entrance) was too far from the now main entrance.  Since it's the last legacy of Antlia (the first one) I left it there, and forbid'd the stones it's made from, which has always made traders ignore it.  I guess it can be torn down if you want.

The only time I had any problem with traders was when a dwarf caravan got attacked by goblins, they scattered out of the depot, one got badly wounded, and for some reason, they never registered as being there, and just sort of shuffled off without a word after sitting on the depot for a few minutes.  Sounds like we've got another wacky problem going on.  Hopefully it won't need any more time travel to fix.

EDIT: Looked around the save, and... holy hell what happened to this place?  Dadam's gone mad with power and has placed 200% markups on almost everything, Aqizzar has imprisoned one of his own guards for somehow failing the Count's mandate, there's collapsed cave in the bedrooms, dwarf bones in the cave river, a pile of rotting fat in the bottom of the tombs, a shack out in the woods, a bone carver with a room full of goblin armor, the Dungeon Master has a private army of wardogs, and an Elven diplomat is scratching his nose at the border.

But hey, we've got a philosopher!  And a tax collector.  And a new mayor, but Zulgar (who I was starting to like) still owns the mayor's office.

Dont' worry about the trade depot thing.

The building components are set for dumping, as well as being forbidden, which makes it unusable.  Go into the building and undump the items.  (t) (go to building) (d on each item, using +/- to scroll)  Then go and unforbid them, the same way but (f) instead of (d).

Probably someone assigned an area for dumping and hit the depot.

ALSO ALL THE EXTERIOR DOORS ARE FORBIDDEN.  No wonder the diplomat was standing around confused.
