i finally finished
here is the last update
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
12th of galena
today evil spirits possessed one of our children. i hope he will be alright
27th of limestone
finally all the pumps for the waterfall are installed. i have ordered the reservoir of the waterfall to be filled and the pumps started
3th of sandstone
I hate the count. today he wanted crystal glass to be made! crystal glass! next he will be mandating adamantine or something. luckily some goblins were captured last siege i have ordered a goblin wrestler to be released in his room.
12th of timber
disaster! when the goblin was released from his cage he was only capable of bruising the count. when you want something done you have to do it yourself it seems so i have locked the door and he will hopefully starve to dead.
22nd of opal
today the count finally died of dehydration in his room. he will be placed in the tomb together with his predecessor.
28th obsidian
today marks the end of my rule. I have provided beds for everyone and a grand dining room with waterfall. I have increased the fortress wealth from one and a half million to more than 2 million but it was an exhausting task. I will probably retreat in my rooms and focus all on mining. The ruler after me will have to take care of the fortress.

here is the map at the map archive and here is the save filefor more information read the notes i made ingame
advise for the next ruler:
all is going pretty well but i advise you make a food and booze stockpile under the dining room. i wanted to do this at first but the waterfall took longer than expected to get working. I also neglected military a bit so you may want to do something with that. all the dogs are now in a cage or slaughtered and my framerate was at an average of 27 with the waterfall on. we have 160 bedrooms for 130 dwarfs. you may want to do something about the animals because we have almost more animals than dwarfs.
