I see that mini-me is doing nothing of note, nowadays. When the crops have been planted, maybe a nice little side-job on her free time?

I was like, ha, this looks like a pretty dumb and boring game. I was so wrong. Gentlemen, I have discovered true fun.

Xotes is singly responsible for making all the leather goods in the fortress.

Also, fun fact, Baron Lorn wears two pairs of leather pants at once.

Captain's Log. 18th of Obsidian.
Nok and Nosey approached me today, alarm evident in their eyes.
It appears that their girl Thikut has begun madly cobbling together items in a Crafts workshop, though what will come of it, I cannot say.

Captain's Log. 2nd of Granite.
In the end, our concern for Thikut was groundless, and she revealed her work.
She had called it 'Pitspeaker', a willow scepter.
Despite being extremely spiky, it had no images of any kind.

Have the dwellers of Nist Akath found warmth yet?

I haven't been following this thread but from what i hear, it is alike in greatness to that of Boatmurdered, and if that is so then i would like to be part of what ever remains of this little escapade.

As Colonel, i outrank you, Captain! However since you have apparently done a good job of running the place I would not mind a place under your command.

Name: The Colonel
Gender: Male
Profession: Speardwarf, if you have any, if not, any military dwarves remaining. If there are no military you can ignore this post.

Currently I'm struggling to attract any more dwarves at all.
There's a strong chance none will ever come again.

Oh, and the Captain's rank isn't Captain. He isn't in the military at all, usually. It's his nickname from his trader days.

Captain's Log. 8th of Granite.
I had a report from Nagash II today about Nok getting pissed off about a number of things.
The lesser item of her frustration was that they had been on patrol for over a year.
The greater item was that her clothes had fallen off, and she was out on patrol in the snow at the time.

Nagash II wisely decided to stand his squad down for a while.

Captain's Log. 14th of Spring.
For most regions of the world, springtime brings new life.
Out here on the tundra, it just brings the Elves.

For some reason we trade with them, rather than hacking them to bits like history usually shows.
All in all, it's generally a quiet time. But I don't trust them. I'll remember their treachery in casually letting the Skelks attack us forever.

And now I find out that Lorn, after meeting with the Elven Noble, has paid a quick trip to the trading depot to talk to the traders, apparently attempting to find out why the Skelks don't bother them, but relentlessly assault everyone else.

I admit, this intrigues me as well, but I don't like the way he's going about gathering the information so secretly. It's like he has some other agenda.

Captain's Log. 7th of Slate.
Today, to our embarrassment, the lady Titan Ale Silveryfull stumbled into our lands.

As big as they are, they're still just flamboyant nudists with no sense of moral decency.

Bomrek took issue with the titan, engaging it in a mighty battle.
Despite the Titan's mighty strength, it was unable to match Bomrek's skill, and eventually she landed the axe in its face, bringing it to the edge of death, before calmly pushing it over.
