The Expedition Begins now! If that wizard hasent set up the entrance portal have him set it up here, otherwise we continue moving on, Ranger at the lead.
And it Continues, Ranger at the lead.
My Soldiery will kill the beasts, while I defend myself.
Should we encounter any place to loot or buy weapons and armor, loot or buy them)
1: WIZARD [??] Your wizard writes some neat runes on the ground in the middle of town. Gives a thumbs-up.
2: Adventure [1] You leave the kingdom and enter the Brutal Graveyard! A heavenly choir of death metalists sing of brutality and defilement!
Encounter rate 6/6: a horde of skeletons appear! They have +2 attack and +2 defense and gain +2 attack against anyone who is alone, and become a mob of skeletons when defeated.
Soldiers [1+1-2] your mercenaries beat at the skeletons with their sticks and clubs, but they're overtaken by the terror of shock combat! Skeletons do not feel terror. They counterattack the soldiers!
Soldiers defending [5+1-2] The mercs don't seem happy about it, but they hold the line. Maybe there's not much these skeletons can do anyways...
Defend [2] One of the skeletons slips through and pokes you in the eye! Your Craft is now -1.
No time to gather weapons, attacking [5] Enraged, you leap forth and whack the skeletons with a tome until many of them are smashed into uselessness. The horde is reduced to a mere mob, which has +1 attack +1 defense and becomes a lone skeleton when defeated. You manages to scavenge some dilapidated armor from the fallen skeletons and distribute it to your mercenaries, they now have +2 defense.
The fighting goes on all night, the soldiers seem exhausted. You are still engaged with a mod of skeletons.

1: [3] You train hard and gain 1 stamina! Unfortunately your muscles seem already saturated with ki so you won't be able to improve your stamina any further with this method.
2: [3] You mediate for a while and suddenly come to a realization: you don't have to move faster if you can just hit the opponent until they start to move slower. You learn cripping strike: attack with -1 to your roll. If successful, you may attack that target once more with no -1.
3: [4] You consult the ancient texts for advice on how to make your skin resistant to being cut. They recommend armor. You spend your bag of coin to purchase a set of textile armor with +1 defense.
Encounter rate 1/6: You remain un-accosted by round brigands.

1: Adventure [5, 6] You descend into the dark and soon return with a large hunk of magnetite.
2: Craft [3, 4] You spend much of the rest of the day in front of a bloomery, smelting your ore. Eventually you get some metal, which you forge into a bar. You're getting the hang of it, future smelting may be faster.
3: Social [5, 5] You manage to talk your way into a fancy party for nobles. They seem very impressed with you, and promise to promote you to all their friends. +1 social while in the kingdom of light.
Encounter Rate 1/6: Nothing happens.

1: adventure [1] You travel to a convenient mountain within the light kingdom and start climbing! Soon enough your hands grab some slippery wet stone and you lose your grip, causing you to fall painfully down the mountain. You lose 1 day, now 2.
2: Social [1] you go to a tavern and round up a team of heroes. Only too late do you realize that these are skeleton heroes! They attack you with the power of friendship!
Defense [4+1-1] "Join us! Your skeleton will make for a powerful hero! Shed your duplicitous flesh!"
1 day left.

1. Mine more iron

1: adventure [2] You enter the mine, only too find that the lanterns have gone out! A vampire bat attacks. It has -2 attack and +1 defense. It wants to suck your blood!
Defence [3+1+2] You manage to duck under the tiny creature's attack. It doesn't seem very threatening...
Attack [2] You swing your pickarm at the bat, but it dodges away! The vermin seems to get spooked and flies away, though.

1: Soldiers [5+1-1] Your soldiers charge, dispersing the mob of skeletons until finally, one last skeleton dances away from their strikes, apparently taking on a very annoying change in strategy. The mob is defeated and replaced with a skeleton. It has 0 attack and 0 defense. Picking over the remains before the fight is even over, like the noble jackals they are, your mercs equip themselves with brand new... bone weapons? They now have +2 when attacking.
3: Attack [6] Unable to do much else so long as that skeleton is lurking, you run forward and punch it in the face, sending its skull flying off into the sunset.
4: Adventure [2] Finally advancing out of the brutal graveyard and its constant brutal combat, you find yourself on the Blasted Beaches. Your ranger guide takes one look at the beached skeleton whales and franticly waves for you to divert into the nearby Overgrown Jungle instead.
Encounter Rate 5/6: A mischievous monkey appears! It has +2 attack and is completely invulnerable to harm. But it won't hurt you, really.
Defend [1] The monkey jumps onto your head and spins you around! From now on, all progress that you make will take you closer to the Kingdom of Light, until you arrive there and can re-orient yourself.

1: Adventure [1] You set out to adventure! Soon you come across a circular hole in the ground. Hoping that this shortcut will bring you to the Evil Citadel faster, you jump in! You fall for a while, before landing in a massive open cavern. This place is the Dark Kingdom...
2: You practice your long-range punch to kill some of the monsters all the way in the Evil Citadel. It doesn't seem to work!
3: You practice also your intercontinental ballistic anti-lich kick. Strangely, it doesn't register.

Sordus felt something disconnect in his soul. The curse of doom which had been hanging over him dissipates here, in this negative of the Kingdom of Light. Here, no bright hope exists. None to be extinguished. Sordus shrugged his shoulders, and set down his blade. He chopped down dark trees and built a dark house. He built a dark fire and rested in its dark heat. His long and arduous journey has come to an end, not in victory, but in peace. In the years to come, he would find a spouse, build a family, and spend his days performing the honest work of harvesting the dark wheat. The dark kingdom is not like the light kingdom, it is never under siege, and brave heroes never save it. Many, many, many years later, an old and wise Sordus lay on his deathbed, having forgotten all of his swordsman secrets of immortality. He said his goodbyes, made his peace, and departed from worlds of light and dark altogether.

I am too disoriented to lead, and will only lead them to disaster or back home. Let the ranger, who better knows the land, lead to the castle instead, he suffers no penalty as only I was attacked. He was brought along afterall, and can serve exceptionally as a backup.
Dodge the monkey
Have my non dizzy soldiers carry me around.
Have my non Dizzy Soldiers attack the enemy. Once again, the power of hiring people prevails!

I hope that works. Gets some use out of the ranger I hired too, since he can lead while im disoriented.
