Magma descends further down, using the middle space of a nearby spiral staircase to dive into his next destination.

Sight that greets him is as desolate as the one before it. It is an incredibly complex set of intricately placed shelves, filled with all sorts of stone tablets, scrolls of all kinds, various books and booklets and even a few tomes of considerable lenght. Tables and chairs, made of rock, are also scattered around, most cracked and broken.

This is DF Bug Reports. Magma knows that this place was essentially an uselessly elaborate library of complaints, some ancient and long since heeded, some still pending, even after all this time.

He wanders around aimlessly, reading the ancient complaints stored in this forgotten place. He remembers that, in ancient times, Toady had adopted a new system of recieving complaints about his system of magic, leaving this place to dust.

That did seemed to stop some people from using it anyways. He finds a table and a chair, with a stone tablet that looks very new on it. It's title reads "Re: Retroactive trade mandates". He looks at the tablet and chooses to disregard it.

He looks around some more. Maybe he should just leave this place too. Or not.


A: Stay, and continue looking around.

Magma descends even further into the fortress. After a brief interlude of diving down through a spiral staircase, he finds himself in a place much similar to the one he was just in.

More shelves, more writing, tables, chairs, as far as eye can see. This is  DF Suggestions. Toady really likes this Dee Ef thing, Magma thinks, figuring that it may be somethiing Toady does. Makes? As in, a product? Game? He has no clue.

This place, unlike its sister section above it, is still in legitimate use. That makes him remember something. There is supposed to be a specific subsection here, dedicated entirely on providing terrible suggestions.

He could just go down a section again. Or he could find the Terrible Suggestions Thread, for the sake of it.

Find the thread? Maybe sometime later. Maybe even not. Magma is immortal. He can always find the time to.

He finds another descent, and jumps right in, falling into the layer below.

He crash lands onto the cold stone, looking around. He senses something. He is not alone. He isn't fearful though, he knows it is just another forumite.

The forumite in question had no corporeal form, and was older the Magmacube by a wide margin; more than two times. Clatch, was the name of them. They paid Magma no mind, their pure presence sloshing around the halls, focused on a fresh looking parchment that probably answered whatever question they had.

Oh yes, this was DF Gameplay Questions. What game was played here to ask questions about, Magma wasn't quite sure. There weren't any dices, nor any whispers of thought floated to the minds of puppets.

He could just continue his pilgrimage to the lowest floor, or he could chat with Clatch, to seek wisdom from the older person.

Magmacube wastes no time talking to the enigmatic presence around him, and goes to find a yet another downward passage.

He encounters one, but quickly realises that it is not the one he was searching for. On the ground is the entrance for DF Wiki Discussion, a child board. It was an isolated place that was inaccesible from anywhere else. He could go in, or he could ignore it and continue downwards.


A: Go to DF Wiki Discussion.
B: Find a passage further down.
