Q: As I have successfully researched researching twice, shouldn't my other research action have gotten a +2? Last turn, the successful research research applied to the subsequent research. Of course, not that it would have helped in this case, but I still want to be sure.

Questions about research labs.

When I build one, does it do a research action for one action, instead of two, like I'm ordering drones around?
Does it have to be specialized, or can one just research anything?
If it doesn't have to be specialized, can I make a specialized one to give it a +1?
Can I build additional facilities for it to work with (supercollider, space telescope, etc) to provide further bonuses?

Would building a conveyor/escalator be helpful for the big hole?

1) Yeah, it is essentially a drone with reserach specialisations. It is an order given, not something you do by yourself.

2) No. It still rolls its own dice, without additional bonuses.

3) Yes.

4) Well, what do you think? I don't think you should even be asking this, don't get me wrong.

I decided to just change it. Didn't make sense to have it when the A.I can research researching first to get a chance at a+1 and then go for the others.

Okay, important announcement. IRL stuff took priority. Updates will be much slower from now on.

Disregard that last statement. I am forced to abandon this game too, like the one before. I will be busy, and for a long while.

This game is pretty complex, and needs more time and energy to be written out than I have now.

But I will be continuing to host new games in the near future, just more basic, vanilla ones.
