(Would Rookie, as Acting Captain, like to extend the mission, or go with the default which is to abandon Raptor when the others get back? A fully trained pilot is required to jump back.)

Hammer can now be used by Active Captain(Rookie) or Marshal(Either Doctor or Enforcer, which ever pops in first). Note: The more turns that pass until the Doctor puts Ex-Pilot's copse in stasis---the less good it will do.

Hint: The Pilot AI can be activated for navigational assistance. Invoke Tropes for custom actions to overcome obstacles in your own way.

(Commands can only be used to "switch or use the battle stations" and not for role abilities. AI Pilot is now activated.)

(With Captain and Engineer searching the Crow wreck, Rookie is Acting Captain, and Enforcer is Marshal. Activating the AI was a trivial task and the Enforcer can still act.)

The impact to Raptor has set it on a slow drift away from Crow. The rookie gets to work on repairing the controls as the captain and the engineer embark towards the desolate pirate ship. They twinkle like stars as their propulsion packs carry them to the wreck. They drift inside large impact tares in the hull and are not seen for some time. The rookie gets the controls repaired, aswell as finish patching up the person-sized hole. It should be enough to protect from atmospheric re-entry, but wont help much if Raptor finds herself in another fight.

The enforcer helps the engineer back in, along with their haul... some kind of Crix'Uqsian android body---definitely a valuable item. Behind them is someone else, but it isn't the captain. They are wearing their pack though, and the enforcer turns to the engineer. "Captain stay"


As everyone stops what they are doing to look on at Crow, the ship of the mercenary hunters detonates, and soon all that is left is dust.

- [Sleep Talk:] The Doctor can post one word, but not perform an action. They will wake-up next turn.
- [Poke:] They can post normally immediately if someone tells them to wake-up.

[RIP] The Captain is dead.

Psst! Hey, kid... You're eager, I'll give you that, but I've checked what I can of the logs. Are you sure you're quick enough to avoid a spin from a flash engine misbalance? And if any ship's going to imbalance, it's this slightly crumpled one.

There's also console damage limiting my nav-sensor inputs, meaning I'd have to guess and fly part blind with dead-reckoning - excuse the phrase...  But that ship's crew and systems probably knew where we all were. Did anyone get any intel? Black box? Pilot's electronic logbook? Enough to help me not try high-speed lithobraking.

Or just find a way to give me a proper view while I interface with the controls, what I wouldn't give even for a Mk1 Eyeball, about now.
