Astrea remained silent as Justice and her classmates had their feud, her shoulders beginning to feel heavier as they did so. If the Order could make enemies that would be willing to pull a stunt like this, she fears what men her father & family have made experience similar sort over their many years. Before she could dwell on this thought for much longer, her gaze focuses in on Orrel who, while still battered after dealing with the armored one, kept up his assault.

"Grrr! Idiot, pull back!" Though these words were too little too late. She can't allow anyone to die here and the only danger left is this Justice character. Astrea mushed Shin forward, charging in towards Justice so she may hopefully save the boy from his own rash decisions. "What the Order has done to you in the past is irrelevant. It will never justify terrifying innocents, driving them from their homes and putting them in mortal peril."

Astrea to I-13, smack Justice with jav, canto to I-12

Quote from: Mus'ad
Mus'ad Forecasts for Orrel and Astrea!
Astrea and Orrel may move again!

"Come then! Bring it on!"
Justice extends two fingers and gestures to Orrel to come at him.
"I have fought alone all my life....this shall be no different."

Justice retaliates!

Orrel is downed!
Orrel's fist smashes itself into Justice's face, surprising and catching the Seeker off guard; he hadn't expected Orrel to close the distance between him and Justice, given that Justice was flying.

However, the winged Seeker retaliates with not a slash of his sword, but, surprisingly, a kick to Orrel's face. However, in his state, Orrel is barely in any condition to fight and gets the wind knocked out of him.

This leaves him open, however, to Astrea.

Quote from: Astrea vs. Justice

Justice is defeated!
Astrea's initial charge smashes Justice off balance, her pegasus allowing her to match him on his ground of choice. Justice, again without using his blade, twirls in the air to smash his leg into the pegasus rider's face, almost knocking her off her mount.

"You may be right, girl. Perhaps you are. But you and your Order have left me-"

Instead of letting him finish, however, Astrea simply rushes him again. This time, her javelin clips his wing, knocking him to the ground hard. He wipes his mouth, dirtied with earth and blood. Trying to pull himself to his feet, it's clear he probably broke something, evidenced by the wince on his face. He sighs, his expression somewhere between exasperated and impressed.

He lets go of his sword, raising his hands to show he has no weapons hidden.
"....ugh.....good fight. You win. I yield as promised."

Arnett had to take a moment to catch his breath— his Imago continuing to wait patiently for any orders. However, before Arnett could issue anything, the battle had already been won... At a cost. Even though he watched from afar, he saw the battle and all of what had occurred. This, naturally, prompted the timid Avis to go into overdrive.

"Orrel- Orrel!" Adrenaline washed over the nausea that Arnett procured using his Arte, and Arnett ran as quickly as he could to Orrel's side. He had half a mind to splash Orrel with the entire can of paint— but that would be highly inefficient. Instead, Arnett put his talents to work— painting as expertly and as rapidly as he could muster. If Orrel were a canvas, he'd be displaying a very messy painting. However, he instead painted a picture of healing wounds. "It's okay- It's okay- I got you, don't worry, it's gonna be okay...! Just please hold still— and don't go into any lights whatsoever except for the sunlight...!"

Arnett didn't even notice his Imago display an act of sentience without orders— he walked up to the pair, moving around them to stand between him and Justice. The Imago did not go on the offensive, but it did crack its knuckles threateningly as if to dare Justice to try and pull out a hidden weapon on them.

The sounds of battle start to wane, growing silent, only the wind, footsteps of people and their chatter remain. One last visual check to see if the villagers are in safety, then Kruger walks together with the other ones towards where Orrel, Astrea and Justice fought each other.

Similar to the Imago, he eventually stands between Justice and the others, a drawn blade pointing to the former but otherwise not intending to threaten him, occasionally glancing towards Arnett's effort.

Kruger returns his gaze to Justice, albeit he couldn't keep up eye contact for a prolonged period of time.

"For your information, no villager has been hurt."
"I assume correctly that your personal mission has been fulfilled with that? Only terrorizing them instead of snuffing out their lives? That's very nice, isn't it, Fiendheart? So much more noble than your partners in crime."

For a moment, then, he manages to hold eye contact long enough for the next sentence.

"Or maybe you just didn't want more people to suffer as you had in the past. Maybe you didn't want more people to eventually name themselves Justice."

Justice doesn't even grace him with a look back.

The villagers, for their part, are being escorted to safety by the two Order troops who had greeted you earlier.

"...nobody got hurt, huh? Good. It was supposed to be just us here."

Justice fixes Kruger with a glare.

"Call me whatever you like, Wallhaim. It's always the same story, isn't it? You people in your high and mighty posts, get to talk like you care about us down here because you're safe. And then when people snap and break under it all because you don't really care, you call them Fiends and cast them out because it doesn't fit your story. Volskaya, Cuauila, Huraw...always the same story. The Order messes up, the people are left with nothing and the world forgets after the Order offers some bad apology and sweeps it all under the rug, that we're still here, we still lost everything and we got nothing for it."

The mysterious, pink-haired lady and Katarina both stiffen momentarily.

To those more aware of the Order incidents, however, Volskaya seems to be the one that sticks out. Cualila and Huraw, however, don't seem to ring any bells.

"That's who the Seekers of Calamity are. We are those that the Order abandoned, failed to protect. Who the Order robbed and swept beneath. We became sick of being forgotten and we wanted recompense."

Orrel pushed himself back up to one knee, shrugging off Arnett before the healing job was finished. Tattered clothes and bleeding cheek ignored, he managed to stagger to his feet and closed in on Justice. He solidly placed himself between Arnett and the man, even knowing what sort of damage his brother's construct could do. It didn't matter, not with the years of ingrained habit making the move one of muscle memory. He gestured at Kruger, a sharp chop, trying to get the man to stop. His anger wouldn't help here. But neither would Orrel's. Not anymore, not now that the fight was over.

"The noblest of intentions too often end up rotten. You say you fight for the innocent. Honestly, I almost believe that of you. Or at least that you believe you do. I'm less convinced on the man who was with you. He was all too willing to leave you and the villagers to the wolves. Leaving you a scapegoat. So. What are the Seeker's plans? Strike here, where else? They had to know if they failed here, the entire Order would be on the lookout for them. So what next? Where's the feint and where's the blow? What village is next on the list to be put in danger so that your leader might hope to be satisfied?"

Justice considers Orrel's words.

"...indeed. I should've remembered that, shouldn't I? Sounds like something your father would've said. I would know. My father picked it up from yours."

He sighs.

"....if I am being honest, my role among the Seekers is to be their muscle. Strategy's never quite been my forte. Obedience....they're the boss' enforcer. The one who conveys the plans to the rest of us. They and Mercy drip feed the rest of us with their orders. Where they plan to strike next is beyond my knowledge. Ruthenia, perhaps. At least that's what that rat Wisdom was muttering...."

Stepping to the side to let her proclaimed rival get his own turn with the charred Fiend, watching the Fiend in question be reduced to dust with a confident smirk,

"An impressive display Mordecai. Not a shred of mercy should be left for creatures of darkness such as these" she commented, flourishing her cloak as she made her way over to where she had seen the two Seekers move off to... Now met with the site of her classmates facing off against a surrendering 'Justice', causing a slight frown to form on her face. How was she supposed to make sure Justice remembered her name if he was beaten before she got to him?

"At least I have the courtesy to make myself a target. I do not hide myself behind an illusion of myself. I am Kruger Ludwig Wallhaim, son of Rheinberg's war minister Radolf Armin Josef Wallhaim."
"Feel free to kidnap me and blackmail my father for ransom. See if he cares. See if I care."

Kruger sheathes his sword.

"For all the good the Order brought, I have not forgotten about the bad that happened in the past. I do not dodge the Order's past."
"But if your proposal for a better alternative are ruffians seeking it as right to threaten innocent lives, ruffians thinking the Fiends are a better alternative to the Order..."

He touches his scarf for a moment.

"... then I shall do my part to make sure such mistakes shall never happen again, so that no one must suffer losses like yours, Justice."
"I have no hopes to restrain a flying opponent, so if you excuse me..."

Kruger checks on Arnett and Orrel, seeing if they are both okay.

Cualila and Huraw... I need to investigate these.

Arnett almost called out to Orrel as he shrugged him off— he could still see a few more wounds on him, but Arnett's voice just got caught in his throat. Arnett kept kneeling on the ground, at somewhat of a loss for words as Orrel went to go confront Justice. Arnett sighed as he watched small droplets of paint drip onto the ground with nothing to heal. Eventually, he found some courage to look over at the conversation he felt like he had a place in— a spot that already got filled up, it seemed. He saw his Imago showing a bit more courage than he did, but it was pointless considering the Imago couldn't actually talk. With a sigh, Arnett took out a can of cloudy water and, after he washed his brush, splashed it onto the Imago's back— it dissipated without even flinching, leaving Arnett to fill the cavity it left.

He wasn't in the mood to fill in any cavities. He just gave a little thumbs up and a half-hearted grimace towards Kruger as he moved away from the group. All of the sudden, that adrenaline washed away to let his nausea pave the way forward. Eventually, his eyes settled on Cattleya, and Arnett moved over towards her.

"Please hold still for just a little bit... I didn't get to finish from before..." Exhaustion was evident in Arnett's voice, however— it was clear he wouldn't stop her if she ran off. After he dipped his paintbrush into the healing paint, Arnett tried to get back to work.

"First off, y'all sound like a cult with names like Justice and Obedience and Wisdom and whatnot."

"Secondly, y'all acting like the Order was supposed to be some perfect thing and it needs to be destroyed because it ain't. Yeah, bad things have happened. But at least they're trying to save lives. Even if you didn't know the people were still here, you were just fine destroying their homes and property. What do you think they were going to do when you've taken everything from them? At best maybe they could find somewhere else to go and try to start over, but y'all wouldn't care if they ended up dying as bandits or keeling over from exposure and starvation, long as the Order looked bad."

Rika spit at Justice's feet.

"That's about what your sense of honor's worth right there."

"Destroyed? No. By all means, keep your Order when they answer for their failures. But if they must be destroyed to make that happen, then so be it. You speak as if I don't know what being on the other side of that is like. If you had, you'd understand why we're so angry."

Justice doesn't even flinch at being spat at.

"....in any case, this was not my plan. Had I known, I would've refused. My quarrel is with the Order alone. Believe me or don't, it's not my problem."

"Ends justify the means, huh? You didn't know innocent people were here, but you sure do like putting on a show like you cared once you found out, bless your heart."

"Luckily for you I'm a 'means justify the ends' kind of girl so I ain't gonna advocate for putting you down here and now, but you ought to be hauled in for judgement. You know. Actual justice, not just justice in name only."

Orrel winced as Justice talked to Rika about being on the other side, staring back down at his fans. He quickly closed them and stuffed them into his belt. He closed his eyes, a deep breath. And then another. The last image he had of his father flashed through his mind. Leaving him and his brother behind to go try and save a doomed town. Someone had to do it. But why did it need to be his father? No. Focus on the now.

"Alright. Rika is right. We should take Justice here back to the Order. Let the professors decide how to handle him. Do we have rope or something? As well behaved as he has been, we can't leave that up to trust. Not after everything here today."

As the group continues to talk, however, a shimmering light begins to surround Justice.  Rika very quickly recognises it as similar to her own Arte.

Justice immediately sighs.
"....I should have known it wouldn't be so easy."

Before anyone can do anything about it, Justice vanishes from before them. A loud scream emerges from a nearby copse of trees.
