Bio:
Petros Miska is a man with a mission. His mother was, at the time of his birth, a veteran Knight serving in northern Ruthenia. Like any in his position would, he idolized her, wished dearly to follow in her footsteps. And perhaps, in another world, he might have. But the Volskaya Disaster dashed all chances of that. The elder Miska survived unharmed, but in the aftermath she quit the Order in disgust with its failure to protect the vulnerable, even publicly criticizing them on more than one occasion. She encouraged Petros, once he was old enough to understand why, to find another path in life. The Order was not worthy of his time or effort.
While Petros did try to live a normal life, it didn't work out. He dropped out of university after only a year, instead working a succession of odd jobs in one of Miletos' larger cities. He worked his way up to the position of deliveryman for a high-end flowershop, but even that job quickly became soul-crushing. The last piece fell into place when he passed by a drunken brawl in the steet and noticed a child that had been dragged into the fight; in the process of trying to rescue him Petros manifested his Arte from the first time. Petros had never really given up on the idea of becoming a Knight, and now with an Arte he resolved to make it a reality and prove to his mother that the Order still was worthy, after all. He studied hard in whatever free time he had, and just managed to pass the entrance exams.
As a student, Petros is driven-he only passed the entrance exams by the skin of his teeth, and would rather not repeat the experience-and pushes himself to always study and practice so that he may be the best Knight possible. The Elerian Order has given him purpose, and he wishes to repay that. As part of that he's always willing to help his classmates out, even if he doesn't socialize that much. His relationship with his mother is rather tense-she greatly disapproves of his choice to become a Knight, though they are still on speaking terms-and he is rather sensitive about the topic with his fellows, preferring to avoid it if at all possible.
