Your tax collectors are very cool. They take stuff from the enemy. The enemy is uncool to the max. That makes people want the stuff the tax collectors make a lot less. The people do not want uncool stuff.

Improved Space Parts
We retrofit all our cool aircraft equipment to be cool spacecraft equipment, providing our pilots with sufficient coolness even in space. Dead people are just not very cool, so I guess we fix that too, exactly as you would expect.

The space parts are improved! Good work! They now do a much better job of separating the space and the not space. This makes them more expensive. Sad. They are very very cool. Not many people are cool enough to use them. Fixing the uncoolness of the dead is easy! Tragic backstories are cool. Dead parent floating in space is very tragic! The government works to play up the tragic backstories of the new generations of pilots who lost parents in space. These people are very cool and will make super elite cool pilots with very tragic backstories. This does not make them good pilots.
