Our uncoolest people are required to give some of their cool stuff to the coolest people, therefore letting our coolest people use their coolest stuff.

Enemy Tax

We tax the other side. This is a good plan because it works in two ways;

We will receive the benefits of collecting a tax.
But also,
The event will suffer from having to pay extra tax.

This could potentially have inderect benefits as well, because we are not teaching out own people, and the event is getting used to us being able to tax them.
Tax Results
The people love your tax! The people are not the enemy! They are cool. The enemy is ultimately uncool.

The problem is that the enemy refuses to pay their taxes! This is sad. Your very smart and cool people have a solution! They make tax collectors who go to the enemy and take their stuff. Some call them muggers. These people are uncool. They are government officials!

Who mug people.

Because Taxes.

Tax Officials will join the fight! They will tax the enemy in battle and give their stuff to the good guys. This will go like you think it will. 

It is Now the Battle Phase

Extra Super Coolness Deluxe
God damn, we are just, like, SUPER cool. It is INCREDIBLE how cool we are. But no amount of cool is cool enough, so now we are extra super cool and probably have sunglasses or some shit, we're just cool as fuck. This may not necessarily have any effect on the actual game but it's ok because it seems cool so we'll argue for it and plan for it for turns without actually having any idea whether or not it makes serious changes to our arsenal.

Proposal: TAZERs
Taxing the enemy is a risky job. They might attack us with fish. And fish wrapped in tech. And fish wrapped in tech put on a stick. Scientific research has told us that taxing the enemy (or fighting them in general) is usually more efficient if you stay out of their attack range while still being able to attack them.

Because of this, we have had our top scientists design a new weapon. The TAZER. It is a nonlethal gun that shoots a spray of copper dust at high velocities, with an electrical current being shot at the same time to electrify the entire spray, effectively creating a long range taser. The reason why we called it the TAZER? Taxation is significantly easier if the person you are collecting taxes from is unable to fight back for one reason or another, like being tazed.

We will manufacture them in 2 models, the first one is the TAZER-P pistol variant, which is shorter, and designed for soldiers that encounter enemy officers/high command/engineers/scientists that have useful info on the field that need a nonlethal takedown method for [REDACTED]. The second model is the TAZER-R rifle variant, which is similar to the -P variant, but longer and is designed for zapping TSTWMS important personell from afar. For simplifying logistics, we have designed them to take the same batteries; which can provide roughly 6 shots per battery for the pistol variant, and to ensure that the stun power doesn't decrease to the point of not instantly knocking out an unprotected person from a further distance, the rifle variant can only shoot 4 times per battery.

As a side effect, it may or may not be [DATA EXPUNGED BY ORDER OF THE SIDE THAT WAS MENTIONED FIRST HIGH COMMAND]. We are running in the dark, and this war can only end in genocide on a galactic scale if we don't know why the enemy is trying to resist our taxation.

I'm suggesting that we use the design credit on my TAZER proposal, since it won't hurt us if we decide to zap the uncool people into submission to find out what makes them tick, and the secrets to their stuff.

You know what else is cool, Magic! Magic lets us use the elements directly to be cool. We can burn down cities, flood plains, create depressions of earth, and zap people with electricity. Also fly with the winds. Super Cool, yeah? And the Credit of COOLNESS makes this extra effective, creating Magic Tax Collectors.

Design: Anti-stick

Our enemies seem to rely on sticks, so we will directly counter this stick stuff. The way this design counters sticks is vague, but the intention of it is very clear, so I expect the GM will understand our design as I intend it.

This is important because it will let us advance and nullify their own advancement at the same time. Because this design is important, we will also use our design credit on it.
