I approve of this randomness. However, I'd enjoy it more if the randomness of Coin was kept, and you just glued the turtle and elephants onto it while it's still spinning, not only because it's less random, but also because if it's not spinning there's no day-night cycle (since unlike Discworld I don't think the sun will fit if the Elephant cocks it's leg) and no seasons, and so on. Pretty boring, if you ask me.

(X) Mahar creates the five Stone Elephants (named North, South, East, West, and Humboldt) and attaches them to the back of Goladrath's shell. If possible, Mahar will also balance the Black Slate, stopped or still spinning, on the backs of the elephants and kick West's legs out under him/her, sending the poor thing out into a nastily eccentric orbit around the system (Whether West lands on top of the Black Slate or in Goladrath's maw is anyone's guess).

I've never come across a creation tale involving 5 elephants. I could be wrong and just not found one yet

La Chaleur was a strange entity, a flickering consciousness borne from the concepts which it sought to embody, and accordingly the matter of emotions was a strange one for the God, driven primarily by the success of those domains it sought. As such, currently it found itself dissatisfied. The Iavodell seemed to be a cold and lonely place, many beings drifting to only come across one another by chance... and it did not find this satisfactory. So it worked on a creation, drawing diamond from the Starforge to create globes which it scattered throughout the wide expanse of the Iavodell -- and then filled with eternal fire directly from the Plane of Fire, creating areas of warmth and comfort speckled throughout the infinite sea, places for life to gather in the cold ocean.

[X] La Chaleur creates ersatz stars throughout the Iavodell -- large hollow globes of diamond from the Starforge, filled with fire from its Plane of Fire, to create zones of warmth and comfort to attract life in the Iavodell.
