I'll note ahead of time, Wolf. So long as the Rats pray thrice next turn, give them a tile first. My next turn will be pure research based.

We can always have sea bats. They live underwater and use their wings to swim through it like they're gliding.

Turn 2: Humble Beginnings

The Wolf of the Void continues to ponder Tile Fertility. It seems that this task will be a fairly heavy investment to make a reality...

Meanwhile, Yara's pondering has yielded some cheaper short term results! Instead of creating another tile on a tile, Yara can now change the weather. This effect will last for one turn, and can be used if you want to help the civilization that works there. Or if you don't.

No civilizations did anything. You can't do things before you exist.
I considered making an exception for the first turn, but decided against it. This is how I want new players to join the game in the future and I want to keep things consistent. On the plus side, you get to look at your species powers now.

Supernerd, Can I wait till turn 2 to enter? These choices are... They are.

More specificly, won't Civs interfere with each other if they forage in the same area? Or try to do something in someone else's Tile?

Ah... Hua...

Civilization Name: Cait Sith
Starting Tile: Wolf of the Void, F5. And may the Void Bless Us, cause this is not going to be fun.
Species Description: Cat Ears and tail. Good eyesight/senses. Night vision. None taller then 5'5. Normal skin and mostly human body otherwise.

Cait Sith
3 Workers Scavenge at F5
1 Worker Prays. Oh Wolf of the Void, bring forth aid to us, for we have none.
1 Worker researches Island Survival Skills

Once more, with feeling.

Like I said no less than two times already, you need to ponder a specific topic. This is way too vague.

Hm, yes... "I do the thing" isn't gonna cut it. Choose a specific action to research ponder. Do you want to enrich tiles with additional food? Bestow blessings and curses upon mortals? Create artifacts?

You can look at some of the old Gridhood games if you need inspiration for potential god actions; there's lots out there. But you're gonna have to be clearer about what exactly you expect to accomplish with your ponderings.

Turn 3: Once more, with feeling!

Note: I decided that civilizations should probably have colors after all. This is optional at this point, but you may submit a color if you want one. Still in the process of tweaking the update format a bit. I'll get it the way I like it eventually.

Yara
Yara, perhaps jealous of the Wolf's creativity, begins to ponder a similar topic. Meanwhile, the mortals begin their work.

Stickwalkers
2 workers forage at A7 and manage to collect 6 food.
3 workers begin research on the subject of Stone Knapping
1 New worker is born at the cost of 3 food.

Confederation of Deer
3 workers forage at A5 and bring home 7 food.
2 workers begin research on Agriculture.

==========

Wolf of the Void
The Wolf of the Void continues to ponder tile fertility... Improving upon the quality of a tile seems like it would require a complete re-tooling of the tile ecosystem...

Cait Sith
3 workers forage at F5 to collect 8 food.
1 worker prays to the Wolf of the Void to generate 1fp
1 workers begins research on Island Survival Skills

Drecthul Commonwealth
3 workers forage at G5 and bring home 5 food.
1 worker prays to the Wolf of the Void to generate 1fp
1 worker begins research on Wood Foraging
