Yeah! Loving all the aspects of it, and the original series got a bit boring, to be honest.

It's quite good, and has everything a SPAMKINGDOM should have.

It's okay, wouldn't mind seeing the original series updated again though.

Peonians are marching against the capital!!

Much to the surprise of all within the palace, the Peonian army - or rebel mob, rather - has finished up siegeing the castles and cities down south and has turned their attention northwards, to the capital of Kastoria.

Local nobles are terrified for most of their levies are with your Army in the west, still fighting and not yet victorious against General Matin and his soldiers, deeply entrenched in westernmost Kastorian cities and keeps. It's evident that they've not planned nor have sufficient troops to repel this kind of attack.

The war council of Xane-Peon gathers. What do you propose?

A) Recall Kastorian armies to defend the capital.
B) Recall Xane-Peonian levies to defend the capital.
C) Persuade the Regents to buy mercenary legions.
D) Me, propose? Sorry, but I'm already halfway to Kastoria!
E) Recall all forces to defend the capital.
F) Start negotiations with the Peonians.
G) Start negotiations with General Matin.

I'm leaning F. I don't see us winning this war on two fronts, might as well negotiate with the one that isn't guilty of regicide.

But just to be clear, exactly what part of Xane-Peon is Peon? Would the new realm these rebels are trying to build border Kastoria?

They can't even afford lodgings fit for a king in their castle, and as I recall, the rebels control the mines where Xane-Peon gets their money. If they could get mercenaries, they would have gotten mercenaries by now.

Again. Matin holds the mines, and probably isn't a total idiot. He will likely use the break in the fighting to reinforce his position, and allow us to weaken our army fighting the Peonians.

Then they should sell parcels of land to wealthy nobles, sell any royal jewels of office, etc.  We need more soldiers and we need them now.
