You tell the Advisor that the personal union between Kastoria and Satorias must come to fruition. Then you lapse back into sleep.
417 AEC, Next Day...

The wound festers and your body weakens. You remember waking up briefly, surrounded by shadows and candlelight.
417 AEC, Day afterwards...

You manage to wake up for few more times, but this day you notice that the healers are working around you more often than not. It doesn't bode well, you believe. You're in pain, despite the fact that you're bandaged and given medicinal drinks.
After some more blackdot milk, you fall asleep to regain strength.
417 AEC, One Day Later...

However, you don't wake up anymore.
423 AEC
You are
Arina, daughter of Lycwl!
More than five years ago, your father was brutally attacked during the night. Although in care of best healers in the capital, after several days of battling the wounds, he perished.

The civil war that was started due to his wish to see Xane-Peon and Kastoria united under Xane-Peon's banner lasted for four bloody years. Many battles were fought and quite few of them were lost. Finally, in Spring of year 421 AEC, a major blow was dealt to both sides of the conflict - the treacherous Duke Circo was slain along with his two sons, but Crown Prince Marti of Xane-Peon perished in different skirmish in different part of the Kingdom on the same day. With the main rebel player out of the quesiton, minor lords fled or surrendered, whilst Duke Jigon lost support of his people and was assassinated by one of his own servants in Midwinter 421 AEC.
The death of Marti quickly soured the relationship with Xane-Peon, for he was Anreu II's beloved child (and a genius learned in history, laws and military tactics). Whilst the matter of succession in Xane-Peon was easily solved, for Anreu's second son, also named Anreu, was made heir, the Xane-Peonian King couldn't forgive that it was Kastorian peoples that killed Marti. After the war, the salt trade between Xane-Peon and Kastoria was suspended, and King Anreu II did not attempt to re-establish the marital bond between the two nations. The military alliance is technically still in place, but who knows if Xane-Peonians will stick to it if anything happens.

The calamity of the war has made some nobles in southwest, in region called Aroserema, to consider abandoning the Kingdom of Kastoria. Finally, after some riots in Spring last year, they did.
In bloody war that lasted whole last year, the Aroserema peoples have successfully beaten up the royal army and levies of your nobles, declared independence and put one of their military commanders, Matin Gurpilla, as their King. The lands that Aroseremans took for themselves include the malachite mines, cutting heavily into Kastorian economy. Your regents, led by your step-mother Abene, signed a treaty of peace with Matin Gurpilla.
Nobody in Kastoria likes that, and especially not your couriters and noblemen, who consider Aroserema a rebel territory that needs to be re-incorporated and taught a lesson in obedience. Both sides of the border know that there will be a war once Kastoria recovers - unless you might happen to steer Kastorian interests in different direction.
The Orcish bodyguards left last year, as it seems that they do not consider women legitimate rulers of a Kingdom. Must be a cultural thing, sadly.
And what about you, the next ruler of Kastoria?

They say that despite being of female sex, you're as much of a talker and conversationalist as your father, your natural
charisma charming those that have a chance to speak with you.
Considering the disaster that was the civil war, the noble court has written a law that forbids you specifically from marrying outside of Kastoria. Your husband will have to be a Kastorian nobleman (or noble son), to ensure the perpetuity of the Kingdom, its independence, and continuation of Lycwyllian dynasty.
All hail
Queen Arina of Kastoria! The Advisor brings you the Scrolls of Kingdom Status, and you prepare to look down upon the vellum that once guided your father in his decisions about the future of the Kingdom.

He mentions that due to the war and devastation it has brought, the settlement construction project is still underway, with Treasury still donating to it every year. However, people are coming to settle in Kastoria, and within this decade, you might see a population increase after all.
He brought some materials, including the map and Arosereman coat of arms, to teach you a little about the rebel scum that needs to be punished. "Remember, your Majesty, that Aroserema must be punished."

A delegation of the clerics of the Father and the Mother have arrived - its your first audience since you've been crowned, yay!
"Greetings, Queen Arina! We've come to ask for donations to rebuild the shrines and temples devastated during the recent turmoil and warfare. We ourselves are unable to restore most of them, and we fear that people might lend ear to heretics and heathens."
A) "Unity through religion! You shall have your donations."
B) "I'm sorry, but our wealth needs to be spent on other things."
