When it was finally over, Shaelynn's hands began to shake terribly. This had been her first experience actually fighting outside of practice. Fighting to the death. Fighting to kill. And kill she had. Four men were dead at her hand. Suddenly, their expressions as she'd struck them down flashed in her vision, and Shaelynn had to fight the urge to vomit. Feeling dizzy, Shaelynn gracelessly stumbled over to a tree nearer the rest of the group and steadied herself against it.

The young axeman moved over to the dead body of his last kill, pulling his hatchet out of their shoulder and wiping the edge on their clothes.
: "Just one thing after another today."
Stashing away the hatchet onto his belt, he grits as he begins to examine his freshly received wounds.
: "Save your healing staff, I'll manage. But if you're looking for more info on why they were after you, can't say I have much to offer. Their boss said something about a reward, but I haven't heard anything about a bounty put out."
