That is not a good thing. Sorry for this.

Use my Icicle Shower to pierce through the ceiling to the floor above, then levitate up with a jump. Use Wind as needed  determine what's burning, it may be important. Or them covering the crime.

Erica&Priscilla:

Albrecht walked right behind them. The man-at-arms took a deep breath, staring at the corpse.

"I wish this wasn't the truth." Albrecht said, his voice nearly breaking.

@Venza:

Without a mount, there was no way Venza could get to the upper floor.

The hole punched through let the flash of blaze and roar of flames, though. The entirety of upper floors was ablaze!

He could hear timbers somewhere up there, breaking and falling onto the floor.

@Rowan:

From the above, Rowan could see wisps of smoke coming from the roof. Something bright was shining right behind the closed windows of the top floor as well!

@Others inside:

A loud noise came from the upper floor.

As if something heavy fell and crashed on the floor.

"...Sophia." Johannes turns to her. "...I'm sorry I was absent for so long. I just.. couldn't accept everything that was happening. I needed some time to get out of that stupor. Now, I wish that I had done mor to help... My apologies."

"...As for your fiance... We'll find him. Let's head outside for now. Priscilla is right. You need some fresh air." Johannes looks down solemnly, before turning back to Sophia. "Let's go on a walk, for now."

As the ceiling goes crashing down around them, Johannes suddenly changes his tune. "...Actually, we might want to take a look at that."

"It's the reality of my line of work. People die, despite our best attempts to protect them, and we were overwhelmed. He didn't deserve t to die."
Then the crashing, faintly, from behind them.
"What was that? Are the others alright?"

"Right, time to get out quickly."


Punch a hole through the wall to the next room, then yell.

"Everyone, the upper floor is on fire! Out of the Mansion!"

The icicles crashed against the wall, for the wall was strong, stony, and intact.

The yelling surely could be heard though!

Erica&Priscilla:

Albrecht walked right behind them. The man-at-arms took a deep breath, staring at the corpse.

"I wish this wasn't the truth." Albrecht said, his voice nearly breaking.

"I'm sorry, Albrecht."
She wrapped a comforting arm around his shoulders and gave him a brief squeeze.
"We should take his body with us; ensure it gets the proper treatment he deserves. Better than leaving him for the crows."

She salvaged a couple of unstained cloaks from the nearby bodies and knelt besides the fallen man. As gently as possible, she pulled out the crossbow bolts and discarded them before wrapping the body in the cloaks. She hefted the body in her arms, then paused as she heard the yelling.
"Did he says fire? Hmm. We need to find the Princess and leave, then."

As Rowan was scouting above the mansion, he noticed the flicker of flames and the rising smoke coming from the upper floors.

"This is way too much..."
"Given the layout, they should be in the garden area if they pursued further inside."

Thus, he hastily sweeps down towards the garden, swiftly looking for anyone in this area and shouting.

"Upper floors burning! Where is everybody?!"

[Haspen]

"No! I must find Joachim first!" Sophia then ran for the garden's entrance, stopping in the doorway just as Priscilla 'presented' the Princess' fiancé in the cloaks.

"J-Joachim...?"

The staff clattered as the Princess, fainting, slumped to the ground.

"Princess Sophia!" Albrecht ran over to the distressed damsel.

From within the manor, a thunderous crash announced that, somewhere, the ceiling of the ground floor gave in to rubble and burning timber. The building wasn't going to last much longer.

Albrecht lifted the Princess into his arms, turning to look at the now clearly burning roof of the manor.

"There's a back gate on the other side of the garden, used to pull in carts and wagons. It will be much safer to leave that way."

Meanwhile...

sounds of running.

"Right, those thieves went this way. Where did they make their exit?"

While running along out of the Mansion, check for exit points the thieves took. If the fire goes, chances of finding their path go up in smoke with it.

crash!

"Well, there goes the path back.."

Venza quickly found an open door. It led outside, of course, and from there, the dirt paths indicated that it was well used to go from here to the gardens on the back or to the courtyard in the front. In front of Venza there was the wall that surrounded and separated the manor from the woods.

No doubt the thieves left through this door, and escaped the area long, long ago.

Crashing noises behind Venza indicated that the corridor he came through probably wasn't available anymore, too.

Upon seeing the body of his former employer, Beowulf's face takes a grim turn.
"This way, then."
Beowulf leads everyone towards the back gate Albrecht mentioned.

"...Let's go." Johannes said solemnly. In his mind, there was really nothing left to say.

Erica stalks behind Beowulf, calmly going through every possible entity who might target Joachim in her mind.
