"Oi, don't scare me like that."
"Hey, you was the one who started sneaking around. Now I think you are going to have to come with us, little lady."
The guards don't leave their ready stance.
"What news has there been from the other towns?"
Does this satisfy you?
((Hey, I need to at least know what you are looking for :V))
L and C is apparently the nearest town, home of the tribe of the same name. They rely primarily on secrecy for defense, and that has been working out for them so far. Rumor says that the raiders have found it, and are advancing a large portion of their forces to attack it. If these rumors are true, then the Tribe could be in mortal danger.
Reports of a "Berkeley Beast" living in the pit between Triple Trident and the Mine Town, attacking merchants who pass by. Most people are suggesting you keep your distance if you are heading that way.
The Pass town between the two cities looks mostly quite. There are some rumors that a scientist of some kind was looking for any advanced technology in the town, but he left disappointed some months ago. This wouldn't have been notable, if he wasn't wearing a full suit of power armor.
((And as a note, you can always turn on your Radio for appropriately plot relevant news))
"I'm not interested in that."
Go and look around on the ground for anything that might be worth something, like bottles, caps, stray bullets, and small metal bits.
You find an empty beer bottle outside the rodeo. It seems that even after the end, some people are just too lazy to recycle.
(Frank + Empty Beer bottle!)
"I had just enlisted in the militia and on a whim I decided to gamble a bit, so I approached a group of extremely ordinary people and proposed to one of them (who now I learned is Edgar) a gamble, to which he replied with terror. He proceeded to run away and shouted I was an omen or something like that. Then, to prove that good luck clings to me like water to duck, I threw a javelin at a haystack nearby. Suddenly, I realised with horror that that Edgar fellow pulled out a gun and shot my heirlooms. I fell on the ground and then some good samaritan restored my house honor to glory. Then you lads arrived and now we're here."
He writes down your words on a sheet of paper, nodding occasionally. As you finish, he opens the cell.
"Thank you sir. That will be it for questioning, please come with us for now."
Walking quickly, they lead you back up the stair way. You go out the back door, and the motion for you to sit in a rusted old car with its engine removed. They don't leave your side, but the man passes his notes to the lady at the desk as they pass by.
Can I really do anything else, though? The best I can do is hope my luck saves me right now.
Well now you can! The lady behind the desk speaks briefly to the guards, who lead you into the building and down the same stairway described above. They place you in the cell made of old pipes, shutting the door without bothering to lock it.
"Alright sir, now its time to say your piece. What was your reason for shooting that Tribal man in his tribal manhood?"
Vakk and the kitty cat are left behind. The radcat looks particular worried about this development.
