This little girl has tan skin, long brown hair, and a non-muscular frame. inset in the back of her neck, covered by her hair, is a small, roughly-2inch across at the widest point, pale crystal that her eyes match.
She also is able to transform in a large scythe with a semi-automatic 30mm cannon built into the handle, with her crystal inset near the head of the blade. This crystal is core to her being, and although it is extremely durable, if it beaks, in either form, she dies with it.
She generates her own ammunition, having both HEDP and HEI shells available to her, but consumes extremely large amounts of food in order to do so. She is capable of storing 3 shells within herself, though this number may grow with her.
She is controlled through a tiny (1/8 of an inch) crystal that can be inset into whatever the wielder deems appropriate, an earring, a necklace, the palm of a glove, whatever, and she links to it whenever she is within 50ft. As long as she is in range, she always knows the exact position of the control crystal, and obeys any commands given by the bearer, being permitted to question her commands one time each, along the lines of a "are you sure" prompt. if she is outside the influence of the control crystal, she simply does whatever she feels like doing at the time.
untransformed, she is able to access only a fragment of her own power. she is able to protrude the last 4in of her scytheblade from any point on her body, and is able to shift her arm into the end of her cannon barrel, however firing her cannon this way is inadvisable, because the short barrel does not permit her shells to properly engage the rifling in addition to not having the normal stabilizing effects of using the proper barrel length, and she doesn't have the strength to compensate for her own recoil, causing her accuracy when fired this way to be absolutely terrible. Also, it is likely to knock herself over, and she will take longer than usual to chamber a new round when fireing this way as well.
Her crystal is able to be attuned to the request of the wielder, and while transformed she is able to attempt to perform whatever type of magic she has been attuned to, though she will generally need to practice to use it well. she cannot access this magic while not in weapon form.
She requires regular maintanance, oil, system checks, etc, which are able to be supplied back at Omega base trivially, but may cause her to have issues if sent on long missions. She does know how to perform basic field maintenance upon herself if given the proper tools to help partially alleviate these concerns, though a number of such procedures (for example, cleaning her barrel) require her wielder to perform them while she walks them through the process, and she is unable to assist in performing any major maintenance actions.
Her control crystal operates on a fairly basic level, and if she is being controlled by some other force, the user of the crystal still has the ability to order her around, their will being able to fight the compulsions upon her by placing new ones of their own.
Im thinking stat points go into spirit or movement, substats into either natural ranged, natural meele, constitution, or a scatter to fill out partials. Current inclination is spirit (to journeyman) and natural meele (to perfect). With the last spare substat going to meele magical (to apprentice)
@ item kits - Gwyn doesn't see why she would want equipment for herself, but she might like a nice outfit? She's more interested in improving herself, trying to upgrade her blades (speed and size) or her loadout, notably ammo capacity but also any additional round types (airburst for example) she can't currently use being added to her manufacturing ability. She could also be tempted if they offer to add new abilities in general on a case-by-case basis. She is also waiting for Kongor to request what he'd like her attuned to.
Plot mission is interesting though description is vague.
upgraded blades or added ammo capacity would each be suitable for an equipment upgrade. As for an outfit - is Gwen thinking cute and girly, special agent, business casual, or holster?
I'll try to work with SuperDino on making a decision about how to attune you and such.
levelup:
2 points into mind, bringing it to journeyman
1 point into spirit, banking for later
2 points in will
3 points in charisma
2 points in memory
2 points in intuition
That seem right?
As for the equipment voucher, ask around the base what an equipment voucher could get me in "Something to up my magic game to the next level" or "Something to boost my farseeing to the next level". Be sure to visit the gnomes for this, and also anyone who seems of questionable sanity.
Also, my vote goes out to the plot mission
those level ups seem fine. I overcomplicated the character sheet, for sure.
(3) you get the usual sort of babbling about different enhancements: rockets, bubble wands, invisibility cloaks that explode, rings of summon eldritch sandwiches, a Gravitational Beam Emmiter ... the usual.
(I looked back and realized they are sickles, sorry)

Go to the library and read a book about the history of Omega
You read a dusty old Tome about Omega. It's boring. Lemme roll for information retention: (1) ah. Nope, yo uhave no idea who ulgrar THE Wizened or Petunia the Inflammable were, or why they matter to the Lesser Weevil Uprising and the Chopice of Profound Importance.
...
Well, one apparently important piece of information does stick: Apparently, Omega was established "To house really dangerous, unstable criminal elements" as part of some sort of magical contract or other.
Updated character sheet.
Two stat points to increase size to Giant.
I'd also like to spend the Boon now. I'll take the exploration mission. I'll spend the equipment voucher after seeing what the boon does. (and finalize the char sheet.)
Also considering spending my coins on equipment. Could I buy a cyborg eye to replace the missing one?
Name: Frederick
Creature type: Red Dragon
race: Four-limbed Dragon
size class: Giant
Magical affinity: Fire
Description: Freddie is a four-limbed dragon, with two large iridescent wings and two large legs. One eye is missing and has a flat metal plate over it. One leg has been amputated halfway through the thigh, and replaced with some kind of metal. His scales are bright red, and there are thin lines that might be circuits running down his spine and through his limbs, lit up by motes of light. There is a nasty scar at the base of his long neck, with odd biomechanical bits visible around the patchy, twisted bits of scale. The tail, the clawed feet, and the mouth all look like weapons. New are two very small horns, just peeping out of his head, far too small to be usable weapons.
Freddie weighs about two tons, and is sixteen feet long from nose to tail with a wingspan to match. The legs are just slightly forward of the midpoint of his body, allowing him to walk somewhat bent over instead of having to stand straight up. They reach about seven feet high. Standing, he is about twelve feet tall, and can stretch perhaps another foot, and capable of about reaching the same distance up with the second joint (the wrist) of his wings. Since his legs are a bit further back than ideal for walking horizontally, he needs about an eight foot ceiling in order to walk while standing, and needs about a four-foot ceiling in order to crawl. The ability to squeeze into small spaces is based off journeyman movement with +0 dex, so he should be pretty good, but I can't see him being able to fit into a space smaller than four by six feet. (If I increase dexterity more, will probably include collapsable bones to sqeeze down better.)

Effects of ghoulification:
under certain conditions, Vlad MUST eat the flesh of living beings. Additionally, you will suffer a Geas.
Vlad will be given specific tasks he must accomplish in a given mission.
These tasks will come with a hunger timer. if that timer runs out, he will go berserk, and will attack pretty much anything in order to move toward the objective. At that point, Vlad will be under GM control. Hunger timers can be filled by actively moving toward the objective, or eating that which interfered.
Eating the innocent is far less filling than eating opponents. eating allies actively harms Vlad.
Also, medical magic will be fueled by the consumption of living beings. That is, the fuller Vlad's hunger bar, the better his ability to heal. below a certain point, and healing others it out of the question.
Effects of gas form:
Let's see. Vlad is more or less an artificial elemental of corruption. The mist is the form that takes in air. the inky cloudiness is the form it takes in water, and the various changes that happen to solid objects are the form it takes there. The restoration ability is a sort of corrolary to that - he has a minor ability to restructure things via corrosion->rebuilding.
possessing a living thing is generally fatal and a dead body will decay when possessed, in rather gruesome fashion
also, Vlad doesn't really have a body stat or anything now, due to having had his body stripped away. He's basically a spiritform, having mind and spirit stats
and magic
Basic melee weapon (long sword, 5 coins cost)
Basic Medkit(3 magical, 2 natural, 5 coins cost)
medium armor(+2 con, -1 agility, 15 coins cost)
Cold weather gear
Spell Book
You get a ceramic marrrionette to pilot. The ceramic is resistant to your corruption, though it is a bit more fragile than some materials. The inside is glazed and fire hardened, and hollow with a sort of flexible glass tubing between the joins for your mist to flow. The material is composite, with layers of woven material and such to make it more durable. The outer shell is made of a combination of wood, bronze, and leather. Leather lined claws, wood on the surfaces that will face the most wear and tear, like the feet, and bronze on limbs and torso to protect against the elements. I'm sure you can think of some creative ways to spend coin for upgrades, like Go Go Gadget feet springs or Go Go Gadget Helicopter hats or something.

Ok I’ll go ahead and yank mind and ranged to “apprentice” and melee to Journeyman (I think I did that right)
Then I’ll raise memory, intuition, and magic by two points each, melee magic by one point and medical magic by two (I think I did that correctly)

good enough. Now, figure out what kind of magic would work well with Kongor for Gwen. maybe some kind of concussive blast attack or something. also consider modifying her grip to better fit your fight style or something. THe possibilities are endless. If you have an idea, ask her what she thinks of the practicality or usability of the change. maybe she'll give yo umore insight.
That wooden body idea really does strike me as a good one, though. It's a corpse and it'll last many years normally.
Vladen corrodes what he inhabits. No physical body is without drawback for him as a character as he currently is.
Also, Spellcasting is a specific method of magic. it involves memorizing specific spells with known effects, and then performing specific actions to cast those spells. At it's heart, it is one of the most powerful, least flexible kinds of magic.
