It is possible that she wouldn't absorb you, but might corrode you instead. or break you. Clay is clay.
If you can overcome her own magical voice, a calming effect would probably help, yes. At least temporarily. Though, if she considers it an intrusion she may get defensive

The room contains several brass encased machines. Some are at work, pumping fluids through exposed tubing, or rotating spindles, or advancing gears. A couple long robot arms extend from above and are doing something just out of sight.

You look back at yourself. It hurts to do so. You are missing one leg entirely, replaced by a straight, mechanical stump. You catch a glimpse of yourself in a mirrored surface and see one eye is covered in some dark material. Your wings are brightly  colored and shimmer vaguely. It's hard to look at tehm. You look like a pirate parrot and dragon all smushed into one. All you need is a naked little man sitting on your shoulder shouting about crackers. You note traces of wiring running down your back and along your limbs. Wiring? or Circuits? Small points of light race along the circuits as well.

"We'd prefer if you didn't. She is an Omega, after all. If it comes to it, and that is necessary to protect citizens or yourselves, you may. But do try to bring her in alive if possible.

At this moment, we do not know how much she is in control of herself. We suspect that she is mostly going on instinct.

You are tasked with keeping her in one location until she has been neutralized as a threat to the public, at which point you are to bring her to Omega. Again, do try not to kill her if possible. While Omegas are considered by many to be expendable, we don't see it that way. however, if she becomes a significant threat and you are unable to stop her except by death, it is an option.

Since she has absorbed several people, she will be as large as the group she has absorbed. She iwll be flesh in appearance, and will have chaotic features. currently she is expected to be fifteen feet or so in height and probably seven or more in width."
