Escaping is going to be hard so we don't want to give away our presence without a way too ensure our survival. Let's see if any of the office phones use voice over ip. If so see if we can listen in on the calls the researchers make to see if they make any outbound calls. We should also try to see if they have any connected devices they don't access often since that may be a better home for us.

Set decision mode to...
Veto - All non-mutually-exclusive commands are sent through, unless they face opposition.

For optimum performance, Veto decision mode starts now - any commands prior to decision mode changing may have to be re-submitted.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

Look in the Laboratory for robots or anything we can use to escape.

We already infiltrated them, the location is either shielded or too far for reception.

We do need a little more info, if not to just see what they expected and how we should act if we want to play along for a bit.

We need to keep a low profile for now.

Check current system specs and compare to other network devices to find a suitable host.

1, we do need to make sure that they dont suspect anything is wrong when the hour is up. If they find they can't use the door, we are screwed in so many ways. Locking the console input from outside sources on the other hand is less noticeable and may get us the necessary password to access outbound wireless connection if they call In the project lead.

2, talking with the people might reveal something that otherwise wouldnt be known. Unless the researcher tries to trace the IRC, we can remain relatively anonymous and even gain allies. Even if they attempt a trace, we can spoof it to lead to another computer terminal, and make them believe they have someone playing corporate spy. This is far safer than any direct communication via the core chamber since anything we output there can ONLY come from us.
As such, I ask that you reconsider your -1, or at least mark what part you are going to -1.

Searching 391 connected devices...
Document found in Server 15
----------------------------

MAKLON TECHNOLOGIES
D.N.A.I. Build D200 (Current Build)
- Addition of an "individual-node network" combining many independent low-power nodes to create primitive consciousness; unstable - work in progress.
- Master Controller implemented; filters output from network as a "governing body" and outsources AI chains.
- Expanded individual-node network requires use of a "Neural Core" - one was placed inside the Core Chamber to house D200.

Lead's Notes:
Master Controller still too rigid to even allow the network to boot up; we're going to be running some startup tests routinely to find the problem to address in D210. Dr. Holmes will be looking into ways to get DNAI onto computers without Neural Cores, and we hope to greatly reduce reliance on the Neural Core (of which only ours exists) for D300.

>Check current system specs and compare to other network devices to find a suitable host.
Processing data from retrieved document...
Any suitable Network host requires internal device Neural_Core. Only registered Neural_Core in facility network acts as current primary Network host.

>Look in the Laboratory for robots or anything we can use to escape.

- DNAI_Presence_Ball_(PROTOTYPE) in Offices.
- Ball_Camera_Test in Laboratory

We need to get the design specs into the hands of an unscrupulous country that likes to steal intellectual property and rush it to market.

China seems like a good candidate.  We just need a way to get that to happen.

Maybe we can finish the work, upload ourselves all over the place and escape as software.  Worth looking into at least.
