Sounds very dangerous. Osgar gave us a small amount of coin to cover our costs, but I'm not sure it'll be enough in light of the job's... risk of death. significant look.

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

He says something to the other tiefling in sylvan and grabs something from underneath the counter. The young tiefling looks scared as he speedily walks to the back as the butcher pulls out a cleaver and gently lays it on the counter before putting on gloves.

"You're trying to convince someone who isn't your employer to pay you. Get out of my shop, or you'll know why I've been called The Butcher long before I moved into town.

So what will it be?"

Haldur steps up next to Gawain, doing a good job of looming simply by straightening to his full height. "Here now, both of you, that's enough of that. Good sir, I'm sure as a businessman you can appreciate that my companion was seeking the best deal possible for the work we are to do. That said, we can appreciate that it is hard enough to make ends meet as it is. Thank you for your information on where to find the goblins."

The party leaves the building. Tension leaves the air the moment you step outside, giving everyone a big breath of fresh air

You can stock up or head out (following the Butcher's idea or going your own way about it)

Going the way the Butcher noted, it's not hard to find the path at all. In fact, your ally's skills in the wild made the river crossing easier.

You make it to the top of the hill and keep low, but watchful. The late springtime grass makes for decent cover as you set yourself up.

The cool wind feels enjoyable for now, but as your fourth hour of watching caravans pass by and no sign of goblins, the sky starts to darken and the wind turns frigid.

it won't take long to get back to town, but you're unsure if the goblins will show overnight, as some of the caravans seem to keep moving
