AbstractTraitorHero: Your boon sounds like a reference to something I don't know. Do you mind spelling it out for me?

Strongpoint and Shadowclaw, you're in!

Haspen: I'm glad to hear it! I was hoping it might attract your attention.

Dynasty Name: Butcher
Patriarch Name: Harlaw
Matriarch Name: Venna
Family Boon: Business Acument - The family manages to rub two coins together and create a third...where there shouldn't be a third. Tax cuts, clever investments and similiar things make the Butchers look like conjurers of gold, always making more where there shouldn't be more to be made.

Conveniently, mental health is already something I was considering, so I can work with that. Instead of pure negatives with low happiness, you can get a chance for a random bonus instead?

@Ghaz: Most of the economy will be between other players, so it'd be a bit broken to be able to generate extra wealth out of it. Any other thoughts on boons?

Ye. Highish chance hopefully 30% maybe with the ability to raise it to a maximum of 60%?

So do you have specific mechanics or stats laid out, or is it more free form? Also, do we have an approximate idea of when the game will be starting?

I have a set of mechanics laid out for it, which should hopefully be nice and simple.

I'm also slowly putting together the opening turn between various house chores.

Year 1, Spring
The last thatch is placed upon the roof of the shelter, the only permanent structure for miles. Content with what they had built together, the families split the nearby land between them and prepared for the future. Time will tell which of them will merely survive, and which will make their permanent mark on the world.

Each Season, your family members have 10 Action Points (AP) to spend. Most Tasks require multiple action points. They each consume one Food per turn, or lose <3 1. They also lose :) 1 per turn, thus you must balance Tasks benefiting the family, community and individual.

Certain Tasks are available all year around, others, such as planting, are only available in Spring. Be careful that you don't miss time critical Tasks.

Each family starts with eight units of Food, enough to last them the year, as well as two plots of Fertile Land for farming. Please see the spoiler below for the currently available Tasks.

The Tribe also has a Communal Shelter for anyone who doesn't have their own home. Which, currently,  is everyone. It is cramped, uncomfortable and causes :) 1 loss per season, but it is much better than sleeping outside.

Spoiler: Available Tasks (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Chron (Glass) (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Murkblood (Roboson) (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Greenstone (Pavellius) (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Rezi (Strongpoint) (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Ito (piratejoe) (click to show/hide)

Those who aren't listed here, you're not out of the game, we just need to finalise your family boon first. As always, any questions: ask away.

The Murkblood family, renowned for their superior productivity and superior craftsmanship, set to work before any others. It is hard work that will lead the Murkbloods to prosperity, and hard work to them was as natural as breathing.

Jark's Actions:
Jark begins this season by researching farming tools until it is time to plant crops. (2)
Jark spends the rest of this season planting crops in the leftmost fertile field. (8)

Heyna's Actions:
Heyna spends this season crafting two trinkets. (10)

Both Padikhnum and Ankhesenbastet plant crops on their land plots at the appropriate time, and spend the rest of the time researching construction.
