Name of race: The Ooze
Planetery origin: Jichodgh, a planet made mostly of organic matter and slime that has archieved sentience. There are multiple volcanoes made of slime that periodicaly launch meaty asteroids into space, cities made entirely of slime and massive concentrations of slime that have formed one of the multiple brains of the planet, all connected by even more slime.
Gravity range: 1.8-2.0 as just slime, this later changes depending of what corpse they infest.
Breathe: They do not need to breathe because they have evolved to survive for long periods of time in space.
Consume: Organic matter. Mostly meat, but plants are acceptable.
Temperature range: (35.3–37.7 °C) for the slime, this changes once they infest a corpse to what the corpse needs.
Sensory abilities: They can touch and can feel heat as a basic slime, they have all the basic senses as a slime creature and as a slime zombie they have everything the species they infested had.
Limbs: Small slimes lack limbs, slime creatures have two atms and two legs and slime zombies have whatever limbs the corpse still has.
Communication: The cells can communicate between them, slime creatures can form basic vocal chords and slime zombies can use whatever the corpse could do to communicate.

Genders: There are no genders. Jichodgh considers herself female because she is the "Queen Jelly" and the mother of the first Ooze to exist.
History: In the beggining, there was only Jichodgh. The small blob of slime landed into a strange, meaty planet in an asteroid and quickly started to consume the landscape. After growing on size, she became sentient. She fought for her life against the dangerous fauna of the planet and soon became the apex predator in the world. She felt powerful and unstoppable! After many years, the slime grew so big that it had spread through most of the planet's surface and many of the underground caverns. Jichodgh felt pride of her achievements and of how she managed to grow from the weakest being to a full planet. But for the first time, she felt lonely. The planet was too small for her, and she gazed into the sky. She realized that the space is very vast and empty, and decided that it was her task to fill it with her children. Jichodgh created the first individual Ooze, one that wasn't part of her. She sent her children into space, to bring life to what it was dead and to fill the black void of space with their colors. At first, they were hated and feared because of their ability to infest bodies, but they were accepted in various scientific plantes, where they research the slime to create a way to bring people back from the dead. Curious by nature, the slime zombies found many jobs as adventurers and explorers. Many of the slime zombies found their way back to Jichodgh, where they built cities and exchanged information of the planets they found. Their combined knowledge of the worlds let them quickly progress technologicaly and culturally, but they decided to stick to monarchy and have Jichodgh become their permanent queen.
Technological level: Technically intergalatic, but they still can't build interestellar spaceships because of lack of materials in their native planet.

Slime color varies depending of their DNA. Natural and simple slimes that haven't absorbed anything yet are colored green, like Jichodgh.
