A - Twister of Fate

A : The Republic of Ilyz : Here, beneath the steps of the People's palace of Justice, the flesh-shapers work to turn traitors and criminals into loayal defenders of the citizens revolution. Under guidance of first citizen Gokr, they overthrew their King, fought of their assaillants, and now decide on their future.
B : The Merchant city of Toolmark's crossing : Seven merchant princes rule over Toolmark's crossing, where once upon a time the Gods tore through the Howlwind mountains. That gap is now the single largest traderoute through the mountains, and the reason for the cities wealth. Each of the seven merchants maintain a vault, and in one of those you can be found.
C : A lone tower deep within the Howlwind mountains. The sort within which one locks undesired royal progeny, or treasure. It looks out over the Howling forest, an area rich in magic, where werewolves and various other creatures exist in abundance. Dangerous, certainly, but also full of opportunity.
D : A burning city, one of many sacked by the 1000th Crusade. With the end of the millenia (at least, by some ways of counting) approaching, religious fervor has turned into madness, and a destructive roving army is the result. Seeking to punish the impure, and enrich themselves with their belongings, you could easily slip in as just one more thing among the loot.
But your full form would attract too much attention here. So, you cut loose a tiny part of your essence, and put it into an artefact.
